MEET STATS: 65 - 287 / $483.00 (-$91.00) BEST BETS: 18 - 27 / $71.30 (+$17.30) SPOT PLAYS: 2 - 27 / $23.80 (-$30.20) BEST BET - SS SUPERSTAR (10th) SPOT PLAY - ON THE VIRG (3rd) Race 1 - 20000CLM Pace (3) TIN ROOF RAIDER A just missed in this class two back and then gained from off-the-pace two weeks ago. He was claimed out of that race by a high-percentage stable and adds Jason Bartlett in the bike. (1) PRETTY HANDSOME had no shot from the eight-hole last Wednesday but moves all the way inside to the pole position and was sharp prior his start last week. (4) HESA KINGSLAYER N rallied from last to third at Harrah's Philadelphia on 4-13 and is making his second appearance after some time off tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (3) PURE SILKY closed well last week but had too much work to do after getting away near the back of the pack from a bad post. She moves inside on the gate this time and merits another shot. (1) JUST ROSAS LUCK remained sharp with a runner-up result a week ago where she came up just a nose short. She was claimed again out of that tilt and drew the pole. (2) JILLIAN JIGGS doesn't have a victory yet in 2025 but shows a trio of on-the-board performances at this level and gets a driver switch to Bartlett. Race 3 - 15000CLM Pace (2) ON THE VIRG drew inside tonight after having post eight twice and the seven-hole once in his last three outings. He's done well in this class at Yonkers this year and was Brent Holland's choice. (4) WAIMAC ATTACK N is two-for-two against $15,000 claimers since he returned to action and is probably the one they'll have to beat again. (1) VESPA N takes a second crack at this level after he posted a gaining fourth-place result a week ago. He had a little gap in his schedule coming into that tilt, but is on a regular rotation here and partners with Scott Zeron again. Race 4 - John Brennan Series Consolation Trot I'll take the #1 entry of GOLDEN RAIN S and CANTSTOP YANKEE here as you get two Per Engblom trainees. GOLDEN RAIN S should have the better chance as she won in the first leg of the series before she ran into the blistering-hot Antognoni S two weeks ago. She also has post three where CANTSTOP YANKEE has the eight-hole. (4) BLOCKCHAIN hit the board in all of his series appearances and won his division of the second round. (3) DEADLINE HALL grabbed a third last Wednesday when he got some post relief compared to the first two rounds and drew well again here. Race 5 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (5) STAR HAIRDRESSER just missed both on 3-26 and 4-16 in this class and makes his third start on Lasix tonight. I'll give him a chance on top. (6) WALKWHILEYOURTALKN also has a couple of good runner-up performances at this level this month and has shown the ability to race both up close and from off-the-pace. (4) MOSQUITO found the John Brennan Trotting Series a bit too tough but did win the last time he was at this level on March 26. Race 6 - 15000CLM Pace (4) HELSINKI has been first or second in his last three attempts in this class and is likely to offer a better price than (3) DELIGHTFUL TERROR. DELIGHTFUL TERROR is on a lengthy run of sharp form and I can't blame anybody who backs him again here. (2) ROCK THIS WAY saw his run of third-place finishes end a week ago but just by one spot as he was fourth. He's had success at this level before and drew well again. Race 7 - John Brennan Series Final Trot I said before this series began that (7) ANTOGNONI S was the horse to beat, and nothing I've seen has changed my mind. He did draw poorly but the extended distance of this race offsets that some I think. (5) BUSY MAKING MONI gives Ron Burke another good chance to go with my top pick. He had two wins and a second in this series and picks up Scott Zeron tonight. (1) BELLISSIMO FACE S didn't post a victory in the three preliminary rounds but raced well each time and gets significant post relief for the Bartlett/Engblom tandem. Race 8 - 15000CLM Pace (1) YOUR BROTHER posted a solid second-place finish to the red-hot Waimac Attack N last week and drew post one again tonight. I'll put him on top. (5) TWIN B SPEED DIAL cut the fractions but faced some outside pressure while doing so and wound up third a week ago. That was another good effort and he has Bartlett at the controls again here. (4) MEMPHISTENNESSEE N doesn't have any obvious form but does drop from the $20,000 claimers to the $15,000 claimers, and that could be enough to put him back in contention. Race 9 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT Trot (2) DRAW THE LINE picked up a win and a third over at Pocono and returns to Yonkers tonight. She has raced well in this class before and trainer Pat Lachance has been sending out plenty of live horses lately. (5) BRONZER got rolling too late last week and had to settle for second. All of his efforts at Yonkers have been good and he's definitely a threat again. (6) THE THING IS showed a new dimension a week ago as he went to the front and held off BRONZER. He's hit the board in five of his last six trips behind the gate overall and appears usable again. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10 - F&M Winners of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW90541LT Draw Outside Pace (8) SS SUPERSTAR comes south from Saratoga in roaring form and won the Open for fillies and mares up there most recently. I have to think Mark MacDonald will send her from the eight-hole, and I'll give her top call. (4) PARKAVENUELISA had a solid 3-year-old campaign and returns to pari-mutuel action tonight off an easy win in a qualifier down at Harrah's Philadelphia. (2) SHE'S EPIC hasn't been seen since April 2 but she closed well from an outside post in that mile and drew well here. Race 11 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW1 PM Race or 15000LT Draw Inside Trot (4) ALEXANDER is another Lachance trainee I'll back tonight as he moves in on the gate from the eight-hole to post four and was second to a sharp foe at this level on April 9. (2) FIRST LADY TRIO IT was third against NW4's at Pocono last time out on 4-14 and likely faces softer competition tonight. She also gets some post relief. (3) YOUMEANDWHISKEY cut the fractions and wound up second at this level last Wednesday and gets a chance to partner with Bartlett this time.
