MEET STATS: 41 - 198 / $337.20 (-$58.80) BEST BETS: 12 - 19 / $52.00 (+$14.00) SPOT PLAYS: 2 - 19 / $23.80 (-$14.20) BEST BET - BLOCKCHAIN (8th) SPOT PLAY - BETTORBUCKLEUP (7th) Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace (2) SQUADRON SEELSTER comes over from Pocono with a better post than he had there and also gets a driver change to Yannick Gingras against a pretty wide-open looking group. (5) TWIN B SPEED DIAL scored two back in this class and gets reunited with Jason Bartlett. (1) ROCK THIS WAY rebounded from a couple of off-the-board results with a third last week and slides in on the gate to the pole position. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Pace (3) MISS PERIGNON N won three straight in Australia before she was sent to the U.S. and then qualified well over at Pocono from post eight. She drew well tonight, and I'll look for her to get the job done. (1) PUSSYCAT DOLL GB hasn't been outside of the trifecta thus far in the U.S. and comes off a victory in this class a week ago. (5) PEACE TALKS was Bartlett's choice of several in this contest and she qualified back well at Pocono after she had a 3-year-old campaign that saw her earn over $200,000. She may have stakes engagements coming up, so while I respect her chances, I'll try and beat her for the top spot. Race 3 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW1 or 15000LT Draw Inside Trot I'm going to give (6) BAR KEEP DE VIE another chance this week as Scott Zeron stays aboard and he meets up with a wide-open group that maybe the connections will elect to show early speed against. (2) HIPPIE SHAKE has done well at this level when drawn inside, and that is the case here as she moves in from post seven to the two-hole. (4) STAR HAIRDRESSER doesn't have great form but debuts for a stable that's capable of having one fire off a big mile and adds Gingras in the bike. Race 4 - 40000CLM Pace (3) BILL HALEY N took two straight in this class back on 2-24 and 3-3 and has had the eight-hole in a pair of outings since then. He moves inside to post three tonight, and I'll give him top call. (1) MADELINES BLK JACK slides in on the gate from post seven to the pole position, was second at this level on March 12 and gets reunited with Bartlett. (7) KOPI LUWAK owns a victory and a pair of seconds in this class and gets away from a rival who has won back-to-back against him. Race 5 - 20000CLM Pace (8) NOWHERE CREEK A starts from post eight but drops off a gaining effort against $25,000 claimers last time out, and this stable is always capable of having one ready to fire. (6) THRASHER has won two straight between here and the Meadowlands and debuts for new connections off a claim tonight. He was Bartlett's choice of three. (1) OZARK had some pace in the lane in a third-place finish last Wednesday and slides inside to the pole tonight. Race 6 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (7) KELLY'S GREATEST shows a victory in this class on 3-5 and was second to a well-meant winner last Wednesday. He does move out on the gate this time, but I think that'll just help his price. (8) FAST APPROACH departs from eight-hole but has been in the trifecta in six straight tries, and I have to think he'll be put in play. (2) CAVIART IRISH LUCK had a couple of thirds in this class in February and recently added Lasix. Race 7 - 20000CLM Pace (3) BETTORBUCKLEUP drops a notch off a fourth in a $30,000 claimer most recently and also gets reunited with Brent Holland. (4) SAN DOMINO A also slides down from the $30,000 claiming level and gained some ground with a solid final quarter last Wednesday. (6) WICHITA LINEMAN took some wagering action and was third in this class a couple of weeks ago. He does go from the pole position to post six this time but was Gingras' choice of three. Race 8 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 or 90000LT Trot (6) BLOCKCHAIN steps up tonight but has romped to two wins since joining the Burke Brigade, and I'll look for him to keep the good times rolling. (2) CHIPPER DALE hasn't been outside the trifecta in six straight tries and doesn't face anybody as imposing as the winner was in this class last week. (1) WALL STREET EDGE ships up from Dover in razor-sharp form and trainer Cory Stratton is having a strong meet thus far. Race 9 - 30000CLM Pace (1) SAULSBROOK HERO invades from the Meadowlands off some strong performances for trainer Darran Cassar, and this horse has had plenty of success at Yonkers before as well. (4) SADDLE UP just missed making it three straight victories as he came up a nose short a week ago. He moves in from post eight to the four-hole and kept Bartlett over a Per Engblom trainee. (3) REAL PEACE is that Engblom trainee, and while he hasn't won in a while, he has finished underneath in seven of his nine trips behind the gate so far in 2025. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 10 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (8) CUSTOM FIT will have to overcome the eight-hole, but I think he's faced better over at Pocono since he returned to action and gets reunited with Gingras for Burke. (1) SHIV was a gaining third at Saratoga most recently and switches to a catch driver this time as Kakaley takes back over. (4) IHAVEADREAM DE VIE finished second to a heavy favorite in this class a week ago and makes her third start back after a layoff tonight. Race 11 - 15000CLM Pace (3) GINGER TREE PETE looked like he had some pace after he angled out in the lane last week. He makes his second start back after a scratch here and was Brent Holland's choice. (4) ITALIAN DELIGHT N didn't threaten after he got away slowly on 3-12, but we all know this horse what this horse is capable of, and he debuts for new connections off a claim. (5) DELIGHTFUL TERROR is on a lengthy streak of on-the-board finishes in this class and is probably a must-include at this point.
