MEET STATS: 32 - 157 / $186.70 (-$127.30) BEST BETS: 10 - 15 / $37.20 (+$7.20) SPOT PLAYS: 2 - 15 / $23.80 (-$6.20) BEST BET - PLEASE BE YOU (3rd) SPOT PLAY - CHASING CRYSTALS (2nd) Race 1 - 15000CLM Pace (3) SMOKIN BY N comes in off a dull effort at Saratoga but won up there prior to that. He shows several lines against tougher claimers at Yonkers, drew well tonight and gets a driver switch to Yannick Gingras. (5) ITALIAN DELIGHT N was a solid second a week ago and has obviously been racing well for an extended period of time. (1) DELIGHTFUL TERROR starts from the pole and is also sharp with six straight top-three results. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW1 or 15000LT Draw Inside Trot (5) CHASING CRYSTALS gets to slide in a couple of notches on the gate here after he finished with some trot a week ago and gets another shot with Scott Zeron in the bike. (3) BLOCKCHAIN finds what should be a softer spot here than the NW5 class at The Meadows and also debuts for trainer Ron Burke. That should get plenty of attention from the bettors. (1) HILLOOKIN drew the pole and qualified back well at the Meadowlands on March 1. He shows a fourth in a New Jersey Sire Stakes event over at the Meadowlands last spring, so I think there may be some talent to this lightly-raced 4-year-old. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3 - F&M NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT / NW1 or 15000LT Draw Inside Pace (1) PLEASE BE YOU raced well in a third-place finish in her debut a week ago and I'll look for her to move forward tonight, especially since the winner of that contest isn't in this tilt. (5) SHE'S EPIC never got involved from the eight-hole last Wednesday but was a good second to a heavy favorite prior to that and gets to move inside on the gate this time. (3) PUSSYCAT DOLL GB led much of the way in her first outing in the U.S. at the Meadowlands on February 21 and ended up third. Her qualifier at The Big M prior to that was strong and she adds Gingras in the bike. Race 4 - 30000CLM Pace (5) KARLOO BRADLEY N didn't finish on 2-26 but came back with a good enough qualifier at Pocono a week ago and shows a win against $40,000 claimers last month. (4) SADDLE UP went down the road to win in this class on March 3 and also tallied in it back in mid-December. Tyler Buter gets the call this time with Jason Bartlett not here tonight. (2) SAN DOMINO A defeated $30,000 claiming company back on the 10th of February and gets some post relief here as he departs from the two-hole. Race 5 - F&M 20000CLM Pace (5) IRON MISTRESS slides in a couple of slots on the gate this time and it wasn't all that long ago she was the top mare in this class. I'll hope the post relief makes a difference and put her on top. (3) EBONY LADY took a ton of wagering support last week and lived up to the hype with a handy win. She drew well again and should have a chance to double up. (1) MIKI THE CLOWN was scratched last Wednesday but won convincingly prior to that. She starts from post one and has Gingras in the bike again here. Race 6 - Winners of 5 but not more than 7 PM Races or 90000LT / NW 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Draw Inside Trot (3) COUNTRY MAMMA returns to action here after being off since last October. I thought her qualifier at Pocono was strong and she shows a couple of fourths against NW7's at Scioto last summer. I'll look for her to get the job done in her first outing for this stable tonight. (6) NOTTINGHAM has been sharp and was very game last week, holding on for second after setting a contested pace. (5) FULL SCALE owns five top-three results in his last six tries and tallied in this class on 2-5. Race 7 - 40000CLM Pace (3) SCRIBBLERS scored in this class once back in late January and comes into tonight's contest off a gaining third-place finish last Monday. He gets some post relief here off that effort and has Gingras in the bike again. (2) ITALIAN LAD N has a second and a third in his last two outings at this level. He landed another inside post and gets reunited with Austin Siegelman this time. (4) KOPI LUWAK tired in the final quarter a week ago but prevailed prior to that and debuts for new connections off a claim. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8 - NW of 2 but not more than 4 PM Races or 60000LT Trot (2) FAST APPROACH owns a win at this level back on February 12 and has hit the board in four in-a-row overall. I'll give him top call here based on that form. (1) BO SILAS hasn't won yet in 2025 but has been in the top-three in each of his last three appearances and slides inside from post four to the pole position. (5) THE THING IS worked out a second-over trip and pounced in the lane to get the win a week ago. He does move out on the gate this time but that shouldn't be a big issue given his preferred off-the-pace style. Race 9 - 20000CLM Pace I'm going to give (1) PRETTY HANDSOME another shot tonight as he lacked room in the lane in his last outing on 2-26 after an inside trip and takes a second shot at this $20,000 claiming class tonight. (6) RECORD YEAR moves out on the gate after he had the pole in two straight. He was victorious in both of those outings, and I have to think will be handled aggressively. (4) SHADOW IN RED was handled conservatively last Wednesday and overcame interference to gain ground in the last quarter. He's been a front-end winner at this level before and just had a lengthy run of top-three finishes.
