MEET STATS: 285 - 978 / $1,565.50 (-$390.50) BEST BETS: 49 - 89 / $154.10 (-$23.90) SPOT PLAYS: 12 - 89 / $87.20 (-$90.80) BEST BET - TEMPUS SEELSTER (6th) SPOT PLAY - WISHFUL MAR (4th) Race 1 - NW3/31750LT Trot (1) REAL MCCOY slides out of the NW5 level at Harrah's Philadelphia and beat NW3's down there on 11-18. (3) JESSIES OUTLAWED just missed last week against NW2's after cutting the fractions. He's in good form and has shown the ability to race both up front and from off-the-pace. (5) GREG is also pretty sharp but has a poor win record and usually gets bet. I'll try and beat him. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - F&M NW20850L5/30000CLM/NW11 Pace (3) LADYBELUCKYTONITE drops to the level of her last victory tonight and might offer a bit of value. (2) JODY is four-for-five in the win column since coming down from Canada into the Ron Burke barn. She does step up in class tonight but is obviously in career-best form right now. (1) BETTERB CHEVRON N turned in an improved effort a week ago. She moves to the pole position here and should be sitting a stalking trip. Race 3 - F&M NW10000L5/Winners in Last Start of the Base Class NW7500L5/20000CLM Pace (6) SOMEBEACHSOMEFRA finished with some interest against NW15000L5's back on December 2. She drops a notch tonight and has Joe Bongiorno to drive again. (4) DBLDELITEBRIGADE N cut the fractions but was unable to seal the deal in the NW15000L5 class a week ago. She slides down a level here and also gets a new driver with Scott Zeron taking the call. (2) IRON MISTRESS made a big first-over move to take command last Wednesday and then wound up finishing second. She does move up from the NW7500L5's but has been racing well since coming back after a short layoff. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 4 - NW6/75000LT Trot (4) WISHFUL MAR trotted a 28 and change final quarter in his local debut a week ago. He drew a better post tonight off that performance, and I'll give him a chance. (3) CREDIT CON made a miscue on 11-18, but other than that he's been terrific lately, including an impressive first-over win last Thursday. (6) ZENITH STRIDE showed he's still not totally reliable last week as he had things pretty much his own way on the front but got worn down by Credit Con. Race 5 - F&M NW15000L5/Winner in Last Start of the Base Class NW10000L5/25000CLM/NW9 Pace (5) BEST HEAD WEST is two-for-two since coming down from Canada into the Nick Devita barn, and her performance last Wednesday was outstanding. (2) THEBEACHISCALLING had the misfortune of running into Jody the last two times, but she's still a big threat and obviously has the post edge on my top pick. (3) MILLWOOD BONNIE N has hit the board in her last three chances and moves inside on the gate here. Race 6 - F&M NW31900L5 Pace (5) TEMPUS SEELSTER put in a big first-over effort last Thursday to finish second to a sharp horse and gets reunited with Jordan Stratton tonight. (3) SPORTS FLIX has raced well in this class before and should be full of confidence right now after winning two straight races. (8) GOLDEN QUEST N drops out of the Open but has to overcome post eight. She's been racing well for an extended period, and I'll include. Race 7 - NW4/50000LT Trot (5) SOUTHERN SWAN MAN returns to Yonkers after one start down at Harrah's Philadelphia. He was victorious here on November 11 and catches a beatable group at what should hopefully be a price. (4) EXCHEQUER has been second or third in his last four starts and is the lone 4-year-old in the race. (6) HOPE SO burned some money a week ago when she couldn't hold on after taking the lead from first-over. I respect her chances, but I'll take a pass on the win end. Race 8 - F&M Open Pace (1) DRAGON ROLL wound up second after a pocket trip in the Open last Thursday. She out-drew the other main contenders tonight and goes back to Tyler Buter. (4) KARMA SEELSTER delivered as the heavy favorite in the Open two weeks ago and has a great history on half-mile tracks in general. (7) LIT DE ROSE was victorious in the Open last week but has a negative post switch here. I've loved the way she's looked so far, but I fear she may be too far back tonight. Race 9 - F&M NW5000L5/12500CLM Pace (6) VELOCITY MCSWEETS starts out of the Travis Alexander barn for the first time and takes a second crack at bottom level rivals. I'll use based on those two factors. (5) SWEET SALLY SUE got to the front last Thursday but made a break. The second try for Devita trainees is often when they really fire, and I could see her following that pattern here. (4) CABOWABOCUTTIE is a complete pass for me for win since she hasn't gotten a victory since Halloween of 2019, but she often finds her way onto the ticket like she did a week ago.
