2024 MEET STATS: 391 - 1274 / $2,100.10 (-$447.90) BEST BETS: 56 - 112 / $199.80 (-$24.20) BEST BET: SPEED MAN N (4th) SPOT PLAY: SAN DOMINO A (9th) Race 1: NW11251 in last 5 starts Pace (2) TWIN B RISENSHINE hasn't won in a few months but he's been much closer his last two when getting to face softer. Gelding lands another decent post and should be in a good stalking spot. (4) VICI closed fast for third in his Yonkers return and Brennan drives the Bongiorno trainee; post improvement should make him a major player. (1) HAZEVILLE took a softer field down the road at 20 cents on the dollar. Price goes up tonight but he still may be an underlay. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: NW10000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) HEZ ALLTHE RAGE N hails from a barn with just one win on the season but it was with this guy, first off the $50K claim a couple of months back. He faces much softer here and will have every chance to get the job done. (2) THE IDEAL DANCER A recently moved to the Engblom barn but he faltered at odds-on; veteran lands another good post looking to make amends. (6) EUPHORIA N fits perfectly with these but faces an uncertain trip from this post. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Yonkers card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: NW15000 in last 5 starts Pace (4) TICKERTAPE HANOVER was a sharp winner three back then was saddled with two brutal posts. Virgil Morgan, Jr trainee finds a more reasonable spot to regain winning ways. (5) HEMSWORTH  N raced perfectly fine in two legs of the Grand Prix series but he just had no chance. This is the softest class he's seen in ages. (1) UNDRTHSOUTHRNSUN N debuts for Laterza off the $40K claim and draws best as he moves to conditioned competition; Bartlett gets the drive again. Race 4: NW7500 in last 5 starts Pace (1) SPEED MAN N failed to get involved from the eight hole last week as my longshot play but it's a whole different story tonight as the classy veteran moves in to the rail. (5) POINTOMYGRANSON may have regained some confidence with that recent win up at Monticello; he's 10 for 31 with $150K banked in 2024. (3) HAMMERING HANK has come back pretty sharp after the extensive layoff and he faces better here looking to repeat. Race 5: $50,000 Claiming Pace (5) PYRO is having a bit of a down year but we all know what he's capable of and that latest effort sure was an encouraging sign; worth a look at 15/1 ML. (3) J B GRAM steps up in class again but he's razor-sharp and the one to beat for top connections. (1) ORLANDO BLUE A has hit the board in four of five and another good effort can be expected. Race 6: NW20751 in last 5 starts Pace (6) COVERED BRIDGE failed to get involved in the Grand Prix prelims but overall he has had another fine season. We all saw what his equally classy barnmate did last week. Can lightning strike twice? (7) TIP TOP CAT returns from a stint in Kentucky, where the Burke-trained 4YO raced well in aged Sire Stakes action, and he's hit the board in 14 of 19 despite just one win. (1) ITS A ME MARIO picked up checks in two Grand Prix races and now drops and lands the rail. Lauren Tritton drives again and that will help the price. Race 7: NW30000 in last 5 starts Pace (1) SHAZAM BLUE CHIP has been a model of consistency for the Engblom barn, especially when Bartlett drives. From the rail he's got a shot to control a moderate tempo on the front end. (4) ROCKNROLL RUNA A is the class of the contest and is versatile enough to do it from on or off the pace. (2) ROCK DIAMONDS N moves back inside off an improved effort; does the Bongiorno trainee have enough left in him to go on another win streak? Regardless he'll be close up throughout. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 8: $50,000 Claiming Pace (6) SURFSIDE BEACH is back in for a tag while in the midst of an epic form spree and he doesn't face any real standouts in here; maybe the Stratton trainee can show a new dimension by showing some early speed. (1) STONEBRIDGE REX gets major post relief in his second start off the shelf and picks up Bartlett. (4) SHINE A LIGHT showed some improvement last week. Race 9: $30,000 Claiming Pace (2) SAN DOMINO A doesn't win as often as he used to but the veteran can never be counted out, especially from an inside post. 11YO just went over the $100K mark in seasonal earnings last week and is a smooth trip away from scoring in the finale. (6) THEFLYINGROCK hasn't been lucky at the post draws recently but he's still producing; should be a factor again. (3) SADDLE UP took advantage of a good spot last week to convert; it may not be as easy tonight.
