Meet Stats: 54 - 180 / $313.10 (-$46.90) Best Bets: 7 – 17 / $30.40 (-$3.60) Spot Plays: 6 - 16 / $53.00 (+$21.00) Best Bet: CHIEFS BEACH (8TH) Spot Play: LINCOLN TUNNEL (9TH) Early Pick 5: 2,7/1,4,7,8/2,3/2,5/1,5,10 = $19.20 Late Pick 5: 2,6/1,4,5/3,5/4,7,10/5,7 = $14.40 Early Pick 4: 2,5/1,5,10/2,6/1,4,5 = $36 Late Pick 4: 3,5/4,7,10/5,7/1,2,9,10 = $48   Race 1: F&M Claiming $18,000 for NW $80,000 LT  **$100K Guaranteed Pick 5** (2) TUGGINONCREDIT took a ton of action on the class drop last week and she converted in a big way, taking a new life's mark in the process; call to repeat. (7) HALLSGLENSMAVIS showed some gameness re-rallying to nab 2nd behind the choice and she figures to be the main threat here. (5) MCDELICACY was used hard early in that race and she paid the price late. She can go better here off what should be an easier trip. (6) ROCKINWITHCUSTARD showed some late interest last week in an improved effort and she is worth a look for the exotics here. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO Fillies (1) RESOLVING goes for a young sire who looks promising and she looks well-prepped for this debut in stakes company; top call. (4) ADARE CASTLE is a full-sister to a 1:54 flat performer and she appears to maybe be a bargain having been bought for only $10,000 at Harrisburg. She has shown enough speed to contend here. (8) PENCILS DOWN is hard to ignore here having had a start and a win; using. (7) HP FELICITY can improve in this second start; consider for the exotics. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: 2YO NW1 LT (3) RED OVERBACH is a 1/2-brother to several winners including $434K earner Up Front Hotsey. His second qualifier showed he has the speed to go with these at first asking and he gets top call here. (2) LUCA HANOVER, a $45K Harrisburg buy, is another that looks well-prepped and he picks up McClure for this debut race; using. (5) BLUE BAYOU DEO was inching in late in her debut in a decent effort and she should be in the Tri or Super again tonight. (9) DEVEREUX SEELSTER was in a fast race on the 24th and he could be much closer here in a dash that is unlikely to go anywhere close to the time of that race. Race 4: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,900 L10 - Pick 4 (5) MONEYMAN HILL gets an interesting barn change here and I'll give him the nod in a race with no standouts. (2) CAPITANO ITALIANO doesn't win often but this should be an easier spot for him and he is in with a decent chance here. (3) BIG BANG BOOM was better last week and I see him taking another slice here. (1) IM NOT BAD moves to the McNair barn for this start and that could move him up at a price; using underneath.  Race 5: F&M 4YO and Younger NW1 or $7,000 LT (1) DOCS DELIGHT fits well vs. these and she qualified okay in Indiana. She can break her maiden vs. this group. (10) ADASHIOUS HANOVER is one of the best ones in here on paper, but she failed twice in a row as the 1 to 2 favorite. What price will you accept from the 10-hole? (5) TWIN B BEACHDREAMS showed improvement last week and she would be no shocker if she popped in this spot. She’s on my multi-race tickets. (7) SHEZA GAMER qualified well for this after choking down on June 22nd. I'll use her on the bottom of the exotics. Race 6: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD 2YO Fillies - Pick 5 (2) GRACE was flying at the end of her debut in what should be a perfect primer for this first Gold try; top call. (6) LOVIN JULIE, a $55,000 Lexington buy, is a 1/2-sister to $692K earner and 1:51 2/5 performer Love A Good Story and she looks like the main danger here. (4) BABY LONGSTOCKING improved in her second qualifier and she should be good for at least a share here. (7) ROSE RUN XCENTRIC took plenty of mutuel support in her debut but she blew up early in the mile. She can contend for a share if she stays flat this time. Race 7: NW $32,500 L5 or $210,000 LT AE: OPT CLM $75,000 This is a field that (5) ONEY HALL is likely to handle if he stays flat but he did have some gait issues at this track, mostly in the same spot in the lane. He is a risk/reward option that you will need to determine an acceptable price on before you plunge. (1) COMBS HANOVER is in excellent form and he is hard to leave off multi-race tickets as he rates highly vs. these. (4) PIKACHU HANOVER drops and figures but he could get over bet in this spot. Your call. (3) DREAM NATION is sharp and he should get a good trip racing near the front and take a share. Race 8: CLAIMING HANDICAP $24,000 to $30,000 - Pick 4 (5) CHIEFS BEACH has never been better having taken a new life's mark in a powerful win at this level here last week and he will take beating in this spot. (3) JULERICA is gradually coming into his best form and he will pop one of these nights; maybe this is the spot. (6) RAYS KREDIT didn't get his trip last week in a race with only one quick leaver. He could get a better setup here but I prefer to use him underneath. (7) MACH IMPACT goes to Fellows off the claim and he should be right in the mix again but he is likely to face more pressure here. Race 9: NW $3,000 L5 or $7,000 L10 (10) LINCOLN TUNNEL wheels right back in four days after being haltered by Auciello and a big speed try could be coming here; slight nod. (7) TT CONWAY can get a much better trip tonight after getting hung out last week and he should be a big threat. (4) CAPTAIN KRUPNIK drops after being used up early and he should be closer tonight. (8) VICTOR INVICTUS is a good one to use to round out your Tris and Supers in this spot. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 10: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,500 to $12,000 (7) EMPTYTHETILL and (5) COOL ROCK, both claimed by trainer Johnson last week, are likely to battle it out here for the win. I'll give the nod to the former who is more tactical. (1) REAL WICKED has a good late brush to offer on his best day and he can close for a share vs. these. (2) MISTER GODRO is worth a look for the bottom of the exotics racing off the Tierney claim. Race 11: CLAIMING HANDICAP $13,000 to $18,000 (10) PAPARAZZI HANOVER was a winner last time he raced in a claimer and I'll give him the nod at what should be a square price in a wide-open race. (2) ALWAYSYOURWAY was game in defeat when claimed now he goes for tha West barn and he should be heard from here. (9) MACHIN A TRICK comes off his best race in a while and he is another viable Pick 4 option here. (1) ALWAYS N THE MONEY is another that should improve with the move into a claimer; using. (6) A BOY NAMED SUUZZ should be passing a few of these late to land in the High-5.
