She was stuck along the cones in that effort but was coming off an easy, maiden-breaking score the start prior. She draws outside but has the speed to overcome it, so long as she minds her manners. I’ll give her the nod to bounce back here. (5) EXQUISITE TASTE is coming off a dominant, maiden-breaking score in her latest, after going winless in 11 tries as a rookie. She draws well, should be aggressively handled in this spot, and should be brimming with confidence coming into this start. (7) INCANTATION wasn’t much of a factor in her 3YO debut after a strong qualifier to prepare for it. She never left the rail in that effort but competed in some really poor race conditions, and should have every opportunity to take a step forward in start number two. (3) HOPE N GLORY left out for early positioning and was trapped behind some rivals late in the stretch. She draws inside and can be right there with a favorable trip. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2:  ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 (4) LONG LEGS wasn't much of a factor in her latest after making a break in her first start of 2025. She trotted sneaky good late in the mile and could be ready to be more confidently handled now that she has a flat line under her belt. I’ll give her the nod for value here. (1) THE GREEN BOOK will make her first start of her 3YO and is coming off a winning qualifier. This filly trotted the lane well and was under no urging by driver/co-owner Trevor Henry in that morning prep, and will now be guided by Travis Henry this evening.  She could be tough to beat if she is on the lead, and is one I’ll use in this pick 5. (2) EARTHA K comes out of the same qualifier as the one above. She trotted evenly in that effort and is one that we will peg for a share in this spot. (3) DEBRA wasn’t much of a factor in her qualifying prep and is one that appears will be ready for a share here at first asking. [DRF : Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF!] Race 3: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 (7) WHISKEY BLUE CHIP has been no worse than 3rd over in her last four starts. She will not have to face a rival who has beaten her over her last three tries, and should be the clear cut choice to find her way back into the winner’s circle in this spot. (1) GOONED AGAIN has hit the board in all three starts of 2025 and should have every opportunity to grab a big piece here. (4) DRUNK DIAL was moving up the inside in her most recent qualifier under urging from driver Scott Young. She will make her first start since December off that prep and will have every opportunity to hit the ticket here. (6) SADIES DELIGHT failed to hit the board in her latest after a 3rd place effort two starts back. She draws well and should be in the mix here. Race 4: 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) RACE OR $8,500 LIFETIME (3) RITCHIE RICH qualified well leading up to her 3YO debut but made miscue a couple of times during that mile, which cost her a big piece. She will add trotting hopples for this contest and is one that I will go to based on what I saw in that morning prep. I’m hoping she can sit close to the action and mind her manners this evening; top call. (6) FISHERMANS BLUES finished a distant 3rd to a dominant rival in his latest. He draws better and should be aggressively handled in this spot, and will be given every opportunity here by driver Doug McNair. (5) PAHOKEE has hit the board in 4 of 5 starts this year and is coming off back-to-back 2nd-place finishes. She draws well and will have every chance at securing a big piece. (7) NORTHERN DRIFTER comes off a narrow qualifying score with his trainer Keith Jones, who will hand the lines over to Jody Jamieson for his sophomore debut. He can hit the board. Race 5: FILLIES & MARES, 5 YEAR OLDS & YOUNGER, NW 1 RACE (WINNERS FOR A PURSE OF $9,000 OR LESS 2 RACES) OR $8,500 LIFETIME (6) MYMOMSANACE will make her sophomore debut after a qualifying victory where she crushed her rivals in that prep. She was under tight lines to driver Bob McClure and she should be tough to catch in this spot as well. (2) FOREVERAFTERALL showed some good late pace in a 3rd place effort in her most recent qualifier. She should have a target to chase with the one above but will have to find more if she wants to find the winner’s circle at first asking in her sophomore debut. (4) GOOSEBERRY was 2nd to the choice in her most recent qualifier. This daughter of Tall Dark Stranger was winless in 4 tries as a freshman, but should have every opportunity to hit the board in her sophomore debut. (7) STYLISH STELLA will make her 3YO debut off a single qualifier. She was 2nd to a dominant winner in that effort and was moving forward (albeit a bit steppy) when asked for some reminders by driver Tyler Borth. She can grab a share. Race 6:  ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES TROT: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 (3) WHITE IGNITE jumped it off at the gate in her career debut. She had a pair of strong qualifiers gearing up to that effort and is one I’ll go back to so long as she minds her manners. (4) ROXIE HEART tipped off cover in her sophomore debut and was trotting steadily in the lane. She was likely going to get up for 2nd but made a miscue moments before the wire, costing her a piece. She qualified well coming into that start and should have every opportunity if she behaves as well. (7) RESOLVE INDEED converted off a two-hole trip in her most recent qualifier as she gears up for her sophomore debut. She has the benefit of staying trotting throughout her efforts and that should give her an edge here in that regard; using. (6) CORE RESOLVE hasn’t hit the board over her last two tries. She draws well here but will need to find more to grab a bigger piece here. Race 7: CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000. ALLOWANCES FOR AGE (9) LETS GET PICKLED was runner-up to a dominant winner in his latest. He draws outside but is handy enough to overcome it and should be very close from the start. (6) BET NINETEEN finished 3rd behind the one above. She closed nicely but had no chance to get to a dominant rival, and doesn’t have to face that one in this contest here. (3) HERESTHATMANAGAIN hasn’t raced in over one month and was a vet-scratch (lame) in his most recent. He gets the nod from driver Tyler Borth over another rival in this contest, and he’s one that merits respect in this group, so long as he’s sound enough. (8) BRING YOUR FIRE hasn’t hit the board over his last two tries, but is one that is capable of a good effort at this level, but I’ll slot him in for a share. Race 8: ONTARIO SIRED SPRING SERIES PACE: ONTARIO SIRED 3 YEAR OLD FILLIES, NW $30,000 IN 2024 (5) COEURATOUT DU LAC never left the rail in her 2025 debut. She found a seam up the inside and burst through with plenty of pace to be 5th. She should be in good shape coming into this start off that effort and this is a perfect spot to find the winner’s circle. (4) KANDY KISS has hit the board in 3 of 5 starts this year. She draws well and should be aggressively handled in this spot, and could be the one to chase down. (1) MAFALDA grabbed a share in her latest and is one that can do the same here as well. (7) SHE PREFERS GIN has hit the board in 4 of 7 starts last year and will make her 2025 debut. She was nosed out in her most recent try and can close late for a share. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 9: PREFERRED (2) FRENCHMONI HANOVER finished a distant 3rd to a dominant winner. She has hit the board in her last two tries and is one that seems to be inching closer to a victory; top call. (5) CHECK MASTER stayed trotting in his latest and put forth a dominant qualifying score. He is a risky proposition but can come up with a good effort, so long as he trots. (7) THE BEAR A CUDA was stuck behind a wall of rivals in his latest qualifying effort. He angled out late but showed some trot in a 4th place effort. He should be sharp coming into this start. (9) P L SRIRACHAA never hit the board in his latest. He draws outside and could be a value player to land on the ticket. Race 10: FILLIES & MARES, CLAIMING HANDICAP $8,000 TO $11,000 (9) WIFEY SAID SO got picked off by a determined rival. She has been 2nd in three straight tries and should have every opportunity to find the winner’s circle here. (8) TAMARA HANOVER was able to chase down the one above with a gutsy effort. She draws further outside but she might be up against it in regards to where she lands off the car early on; contender. (4) DOLLYDAYDREAM was 3rd in this class last time out and is one that should hit the ticket with another good trip. (3) JAZZVILLE rallied nicely late in the mile to round out the super; she can close for a share too. (7) ACEFORTYFOUR DAISY finds herself at this claiming class and is one that likes to do her best work late; she can round out the Hi-5 here.
