Meet Stats: 376 - 1185 / $1,993.10 (-$376.90) Best Bets: 63 - 111 / $224.10 (+$2.10) Spot Plays: 32 - 112 / $211.80 (-$12.20) Best Bet: BETTER B DONNA A (7TH) Spot Play: GOODNIGHT IRENE (9TH) Early Pick 5: 5,6,9/3,5,6/6/1,2,3,6,7/1,5,8 = $27 Late Pick 5: 3,4,5/5/3,4,7/2,4,5,8/1,5 = $14.40 Early Pick 4: 1,2,3,6,7/1,5,8/3,4,7/5 = $45 Late Pick 4: 5/3,4,7/2,4,5,8/1,5 = $24 Race 1: F&M 5YO and Younger NW3 or $50,000 LT or NW $4,900 L3 AE 3&4 YO t be claimed for $35,000 **Guaranteed $100,000 Pick 5** (6) CONTROL THE THONG takes a big drop here and she should boss these on the engine; top call. (5) CHELSIS CHOICE gets needed post relief here and her race two starts back puts her right there with these; using. (9) COME ROLL WITH ME showed immediate improvement with McNair in the bike as many do and she could be the value in here. She is another that I'll use in the Pick 5. (1) BEYOND THE SEA is sharp but this is a much tougher spot. I'll use her underneath tonight. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: Claiming $15,000 to $18,000 for NW $63,000 LT (3) STOLEN ART comes in from Georgian Downs razor-sharp and he gets McNair in the bike tonight; top call. (5) ROCKINMYDREAM fits this conditioned claimer well and he should be the main threat here. (6) DO YOU SEE IT has also been racing well at Georgian Downs, winning two of his last three and getting an impossible trip two starts back. He is in the exotics mix. (8) ALLGONOWHOA should pass a few of these and take a slice. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Mohawk Park card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: ONTARIO SIRES STAKES GOLD Third Leg 3YO Fillies (6) ADARE CASTLE got back on track after taking 24 days off following a rare loss on June 6th. She is strictly the one to beat in here. (3) MISCHIEVIOUS ROSE closed sharply in that race. She can complete the Exacta this time. (1) BABY LONGSTOCKING has been terrific all summer and she should be right there again tonight. (5) SAUNDRA had a useful tightener for this Gold race and she is in the exotics mix. Race 4: F&M NW $10,000 L5 or $31,200 L10 AE: Ont. Sired 3YO fillies or Opt. Clm $50,000 - Pick 4 This is a hard race to get a read on with some sophomore Gold fillies racing between stakes starts. I'll try (6) SETTN A PRECEDENT, who has strung good performances together in the past and will offer a nice price here stepping up in class. (3) PARISIAN BLUE CHIP stacks up well here and she should be one of the main players. Sophomores (1) GOUDAWON and (2) SILVER LABEL are both capable of winning this, but they will both probably be looking for a trip so I wouldn't take a short price on either. Race 5: F&M NW $6,600 L5 or $12,000 L10 AE: OPT CLM $30,000 Let It Ride Stable shelled out $52K for (8) GOT SEXY SCARS last week and she moves into Doc Moore's barn here. I'll side with her racing off that claim in a race with no standout tonight. (1) SNOW SHARK drops, moves inside, and will likely get heavily bet. She can win but she isn't the type that I am willing to take a short price on. (5) TUGGINGONCREDIT will be happy to see Mia Culpa not lined up on the gate tonight. She is in with a shot vs. these and she could trip out racing near the front; using. (6) BAYWATCHING gets some post relief tonight and she should improve enough to land a share. Race 6: 5YO and Younger NW2 (Ont. Sired 3) or $20,000 (F&M $30,000) LT - Pick 5 Tough race here with so many of them having gait issues. (7) DISTANT DRUMS looked good breaking his maiden and he is Macdonald's choice over the #3 horse. I'll give him a slight nod. (4) P P E was 2nd to a strong winner and him being sure gaited will be an advantage in this field; using. (3) SILVER DIAMOND drops out of Grassroots company and seems to fit well here, but she is 1 for 23 lifetime, so I would demand a price here. (9) PROFITEER is fast enough to win this but he needs a clean line and he will most likely be sitting back and rallying here. I'll use him underneath. Race 7: F&M NW $10,000 L5 or $31,200 L10 AE: Ont. Sired 3YO Fillies AE: OPT CLM $50,000 - Pick 4 (5) BETTER B DONNA N drops and she is sure to get aggressive at this level. She gets top call facing some that are sophomore sires stakes fillies. (6) MIA CULPA caught fire in the Pop-Up series and her strong from should be respected here; using. (3) IN THE MOOD played giant killer three starts back then seemed to go off form. She gets Lasix here which could explain those performances and she could rebound here; using. (9) LOVE THAT SMILE is fast enough to win this but she will probably rally late starting from the widest post. Race 8: CLM HDCP $22,000 to $30,000 There are several fresh claims in this race and of those, I'll side with (3) HIGH FLYIN JAMIE who won for Auciello three times in the spring and races for that trainer tonight. (7) JULERICA is razor-sharp and hard to leave off multi-race tickets. (4) OUTKAST BLUE CHIP goes for Moreau off the claim and it appears that Macdonald chose him over three others including the choice; using. (5) SPEAKING OF ART is likely to show speed again racing off the claim but I prefer to use him underneath in this spot. Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter Race 9: F&M NW $2,600 L3 AE: N/A $715 per start in 2022 (8) GOODNIGHT IRENE drops again after being part of a hot early pace when facing better last week. She has a good chance vs. these. (2) MARY KAT was first up last week and that's not her trip. J Mac will likely trip her out in the pocket tonight and she is one to fear. (4) COWGIRL LILLY should flash her usual speed tonight and stick around for a share. (5) EXOTIC DRAGON is another dropper that is in the mix here; using underneath. Race 10: CLM HDCP $15,000 to $20,000 On paper, this race sets up for (1) BETTOR NOTBITTER A to roll past some tiring leaders in deep stretch and he gets top billing. (5) VICIOUS ALOICIOUS drops and gets McNair back tonight and they teamed up to win at this level four starts back; price look. (8) CENTURY GIGALO is hot and he keeps getting claimed. He will likely be the one to catch. (2) CHOREOGRAPHER returns from Georgian in good form but it's a tell me that McClure chose the choice over him; small share predicted. (3) PETER POOLE is worth a look for the exotics racing off the Fellows claim.
