ETOBICOKE, Ontario – Horses from the estate of Gustav Schickedanz are among the 135 cataloged for Saturday’s Canadian Thoroughbred Horse Society’s 2019 winter mixed sale. Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency is consigning the Schickedanz horses, including yearlings by Langfuhr, Itsmyluckyday, and leading Canadian sire Silent Name. The estate is selling stakes-placed Sweet Crimson, a 6-year-old Langfuhr mare in foal to the hot young Ontario sire Souper Speedy; and Vinyasa, a 3-year-old Court Vision filly who is fresh off a victory over $7,500 maidens on Nov. 15. Hill ‘n’ Dale Sales Agency’s large consignment also includes Wistla, dam of stakes winners Resentless and Isabella Bay, in foal to Seattle Serenade; Resentless’s weanling filly by Silent Name; stakes-placed Quidi Vidi, who is carrying her first foal by Seattle Serenade; and Revivalist, an unraced 3-year-old filly by leading North American sire Into Mischief. Agent Richard Hogan has consigned a variety of horses, including weanlings by Society’s Chairman and Ami’s Holiday, and the Tapit mare Tapia, in foal to Danish Dynaformer. The sale begins at noon Eastern at the Woodbine Sales Pavilion.
