Friday night NBA schedule, best bets The Friday NBA schedule, with top sportsbook-consensus points spreads and game totals, is as follows: > New York Knicks at Cleveland Cavaliers (-8.5, 241), 7 p.m. ET (ESPN) > Memphis Grizzlies (-4, 224.5) at Orlando Magic, 7 p.m. > Milwaukee Bucks (-5.5, 229.5) at Washington Wizards, 7 p.m. > Miami Heat (-2.5, 220) at Toronto Raptors, 7:30 p.m. > Detroit Pistons (-4.5, 235.5) at San Antonio Spurs, 8:30 p.m. > New Orleans Pelicans at Dallas Mavericks (-5.5, 237.5), 8:30 p.m. > Minnesota Timberwolves at Houston Rockets (-3, 220), 9:30 p.m. (ESPN) > Oklahoma City Thunder (-15, 235.5) at Utah Jazz, 9:30 p.m. > Golden State Warriors (-2.5, 236.5) at Sacramento Kings, 10 p.m.   And here are Friday’s best NBA bets from analyst Gino Buccola of the Daily Racing Form: Magic moneyline (+143 at Caesars) These two teams played opposite types of games on Thursday night. Memphis had a quick start in its game against the Indiana Pacers but they gave up 50 points in the second quarter and ended up losing on the road. On the flip side the Magic had a slow start Thursday in Atlanta but played much better as the game went on. Orlando wound up scoring 93 points over the final three quarters, led by 36 overall from Paolo Banchero. Let's take the home dog in here with both teams on a back-to-back. Knicks-Cavaliers under 242 (-108 at DraftKings) These are two of the top five teams in points per game, but both come into the contest after playing Thursday night in N.Y. We could see some tired legs in only the second game after the All-Star break. If this contest is close late, the pace will slow down. This total feels too high. Timberwolves +3.5 (-110 at BetMGM) Minnesota and Houston went into the All-Star break trending in opposite directions. The Rockets lost seven of their last nine games, while the Timberwolves went 4-2 over their final six. We saw the Wolves pick up a few big wins in that stretch against Oklahoma City and this Houston team in Minnesota. I’m expecting Anthony Edwards to make his presence felt again after scoring 41 points in their last meeting.
