EAST RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Thoroughly Holy paid an instant dividend for trainer Gregory DiPrima and owner Angelo DeFilippis, winning the off-the-turf $60,000 P.G. Johnson Stakes for 3-year-old fillies on Saturday night at the Meadowlands. Claimed from Linda Rice for $35,000 late in the Saratoga meet, Thoroughly Holy was totally impressive in her debut for the new barn - running the five furlongs in a track-record 55.39 seconds. Jose Lezcano was aboard as Thoroughly Holy ($9.60) wore down the pacesetting Glitter City for a 1 1/2-length victory, with Don'tgetsuspicious, the 11-10 favorite, third. The second straight victory improved Thoroughly Holy's record to 4 for 7 with a win and a second in two off-the-turf races. Pleasant Ballerina was fourth, followed by Platinum Girl.
