Here’s a closer look at the top five Super Bowl 60 favorites … Super Bowl 60 odds: Philadelphia Eagles (best: +650 at BetMGM) Behind MVP quarterback Jalen Hurts’ 293 total yards and three total touchdowns and a dominant defense which recorded six sacks and forced a trio of turnovers, Philly routed  the Chiefs 40-22 on Sunday. It was the second Super Bowl title in franchise history for the Eagles who won with an almost totally different crew seven years ago to cap the 2017 season. Philadelphia has been to the playoffs in seven of the last eight seasons, making the Super Bowl in three of those campaigns, and should remain a force to be reckoned with with Hurts and league rushing leader Saquon Barkley in their primes and several just-emerging defensive standouts. Super Bowl 60 odds: Kansas City Chiefs (+750 at BetMGM) The league’s first Super Bowl three-peat wasn’t to be for QB Patrick Mahomes and coach Andy Reid. But this is a team that has won nine straight division titles and has played in five of the last six Super Bowls, winning three — all with Mahomes yet to hit age 30. Still, there are questions about the offensive line and the futures of some key components, including tight end Travis Kelce, who turns 36 this coming fall.  Super Bowl 60 odds: Baltimore Ravens (+700 at DraftKings) Any step back for Kansas City could open the door for a perennial contender such as the Ravens. Led by dynamic QB Lamar Jackson, who is in his prime at age 28, Baltimore has made the playoffs in five of the last six seasons but has only advanced as far as the AFC Championship Game once during that span. Super Bowl 60 odds: Buffalo Bills (+800 at Fanatics) For the Bills, see Ravens, Baltimore above. 2024 NFL MVP Josh Allen and Buffalo have won five consecutive AFC East crowns and have been to the playoffs in each of the last six seasons. However, the Bills have seen their season end with a loss to Chiefs in four of those six playoff appearances and still haven’t been to the Super Bowl since the 1993 campaign. Super Bowl 60 odds: Detroit Lions (+1100 at Caesars) Getting to the Big Game remains the franchise focus for the Lions who are one of four current teams never to have appeared in a Super Bowl. Coach Dan Campbell’s crew has been in position in each of the last two seasons but couldn’t hold serve as the NFC’s No. 1 seed in January. Detroit now has to replace both its offensive and defensive coordinators and can certainly use some better health fortune after an injury-wracked 2024 campaign.
