LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Back-to-back allowances will highlight a 10-race card that brings the first five-day week of the 24-day Churchill fall meet to an end Sunday. Race 8 is an $87,000, first-level sprint that marks the first start in nearly seven months for Answer In, who already is stakes-placed twice for trainer Brad Cox. The 3-year-old Dialed In gelding will face seven others, including Violent City, a promising Ian Wilkes-trained 3-year-old also returning from a lengthy absence. Race 9 is an $89,000, second-level race that will be limited to eight fillies and mares going the three-turn distance of 1 3/8 miles over the turf. Delta’s Kingdom and Romantic Pursuit figure among the lukewarm favorites when exiting the same Oct. 8 race at Keeneland. :: Want to get your Past Performances for free? Click to learn more.
