Spacy Tracy tries to prove her four-length victory in her first start on dirt was no fluke when she steps up to face stakes company for the first time in the $50,000 Justakiss Stakes, a 1 1/16-mile race for fillies and mares that serves as the closing-day feature at Delaware Park. In her first seven starts, the 5-year-old Spacy Tracy raced exclusively on turf and synthetic surfaces, including a first-level allowance on Delaware’s turf in August. Last time out, she dominated a second-level allowance that was taken off the turf a month ago at Parx Racing, posting an 83 Beyer Speed Figure that stamps her a contender in this spot. Her eight opponents include Check Point and All Night Labor, who finished a neck apart in the off-the-turf Rosenna on Oct. 11, and the Todd Pletcher-trained McVictory, who earlier this season was good enough to finish second in the $95,000 Monmouth Beach and third in the Grade 3 Bed o’ Roses at Belmont. Last time out, McVictory was third as the favorite in the Nellie Bly. The winner of that race, Our Khrysty, came back to win the Grade 3 Turnback the Alarm in New York two weeks ago.
