Terry Thompson on Monday won six races on the Prairie Meadows card, matching a feat he also achieved in 2002. Thompson, the leading rider at Prairie, swept the early double in tidy fashion when Doughnut Man ($5.60) and Quite a Dude ($6.40) won with plenty to spare. His hot streak continued when he won the third aboard the Ray Tracy-trained Save Our Soul ($8) by a half-length. Save Our Soul's gritty effort took Tracy's career win tally to 999. Handsome Blue ($3.40) drew off to a 7 3/4-length romp in the fifth. In the eighth, Thompson coaxed a rail-skimming rally from veteran Will E Scat ($7.80) to score by a nose from the surging Concert King. Will E Scat's win was his third on the card for meet leading owner Maggi Moss, who started the day tied for the lead in the owner standings with Poindexter Thoroughbreds LLC at 20 wins. Thompson capped off the day when Tomcat Row ($6.60) won the finale by a neck. Thompson's agent, Kenny Washburn, said, "I thought we'd win 3 or 4, but I thought that on Saturday and we got nothing. Terry made a big difference in three of our wins today."
