Roberts Communications Network, the racing video and data distribution company, will offer a livestream of the panels at the University of Arizona Global Symposium on Racing this year, with proceeds from the feed going to the university’s Race Track Industry Program, the company announced on Thursday. This will be the fourth consecutive year that RCN has offered the livestream, which will be available on nearly all digital streaming devices, including Roku and Amazon Fire TV. The package will cost $149, RCN said. The Symposium, held annually in Tucson and administered by the Race Track Industry Program, is scheduled for December 9-11 this year. Panels include an update on the Horseracing Integrity and Safety Authority and a description of its drug-testing strategies, the use of artificial intelligence in racing, and a moderated conversation featuring Hall of Fame trainers Bob Baffert and Todd Pletcher. “For 50 years now, the Global Symposium on Racing brings together the worldwide racing community to discuss the most important topics in our industry, and we are very excited to deliver it on an international scale,” said Todd Roberts, the chief executive of RCN. “All of the money generated by the sales will go back to the RTIP program to help support everything they do for the industry.”  :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
