HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – The updated list of invitees to the $3 million Pegasus World Cup Invitational on Jan. 28 was released Wednesday by the Gulfstream Park racing office with no changes made to the original group named a week earlier. The lineup is headed by Breeders’ Cup Dirt Mile runner-up Cyberknife, Grade 1 Awesome Again winner Defunded, Grade 1 Clark Stakes hero Proxy, and the $2.3 million earner Art Collector. The other eight older horses currently invited to the nine-furlong marquee race of the Gulfstream Park Championship meet are Get Her Number, Last Samurai, O’Connor, Simplification, Skippylongstocking, Stilleto Boy, Super Corinto, and Grade 1 winner White Abarrio. The list of reserve invitees was reduced from eight to just five horses with Barber Road, Endorsed, Hoist the Gold, Law Professor, and Ridin With Biden still being considered for the race. :: Get Gulfstream Park Clocker Reports from Mike Welsch and the Clocker Team. Available every race day.  The updated list of invitees for the $1 million Pegasus World Cup Turf featured four new additions on Wednesday – Atone, Hurricane Dream, In Love, and Lady Speightspeare. They replaced Cabo Spirit, Dicey Mo Chara, Masteroffoxhounds, and Shirl’s Speight from the original group. Hall of Fame trainer Todd Pletcher’s two-time defending champion Colonel Liam headlines the list of expected starters for the nine-furlong Pegasus Turf that also includes his stablemate Wit, both City Man and Decorated Invader from the barn of trainer Christophe Clement, Ivar, Master Piece, Speaking Scout, and Who’s the Star.
