OZONE PARK, N.Y. – The New York Racing Association will offer horsemen based at the Fair Hill Training Center in Maryland and Oaklawn Park in Arkansas a financial incentive to ship horses to run at the Aqueduct and Belmont Park spring meets. :: To stay up to date, follow us on: Facebook | Instagram | Twitter Horses stabled at Fair Hill who race at Aqueduct from April 1-18 or at Belmont from April 22 through July 11 will earn their owners an $800 shipping stipend for each time they ship in. This does not include horses shipping in for stakes races. A first-time starter must have their three previous workouts recorded at Fair Hill to be eligible. NYRA reserves the right to determine eligibility for qualified starters. Horses that made their previous start at the 2021 Oaklawn Park meet who race at Aqueduct or Belmont receive a 30 percent purse bonus for their first start in New York. NYRA will provide a $1,500 shipping stipend as well. First-time starters or stakes horses do not qualify for the Oaklawn incentives.
