OMAHA, Neb. - Nayborhood Affair scored her fourth straight win with a front-running one-length score in Friday's $29,250 Falls Amiss Handicap for older Nebraska-bred fillies and mares on day two of Horsemen's Park's four-day meet Friday evening. Nayborhood Affair, ridden by apprentice Ashley Dill, overcame some bumping after the start to gain a short lead in the opening quarter of the one-mile test. She opened up a two-length lead into the final turn, then held a clear margin to the wire, covering the distance in 1:43.80 over a track rated good. Deputy's Whirl rallied from last after a half-mile to finish second, while Jane of Arcadia was another length back in third. Nayborhood Affair returned $4. Trained by Steve Hall, Nayborhood Affair has compiled a 6-1-0 record from 11 starts and has won five races this year for the mother-daughter partnership of June and Tressa O'Neill. T Jays Affair was made the even-money favorite in the field of seven with Lou Lou Larue the 6-5 second choice. T Jays Affair, ridden by Ramsey Zimmerman, followed the pace set by Lou Lou Larue to late backstretch, then opened up by two lengths turning into the stretch. She held on late as Lou Lou Larue rallied back. Trained by Doug Anderson, T Jays Affair got her second career victory and was coming off a narrow head loss in optional allowance company at Prairie Meadows two weeks ago. She owns a career mark of 2-1-1 from 4 starts and doubled her career earnings to over $32,000 with the $16,920 winner's share of the purse.
