Favored My Mane Squeeze wore down a game Bernietakescharge to win the $100,000 Franklin Square Stakes on Sunday at Aqueduct.  Bernietakescharge tracked pacesetting Flight Control and wrested the lead away from her in upper stretch, but My Mane Squeeze, who had moved up steadily on the outside after racing in mid-pack, drew a bead on her at the three-sixteenths pole. My Mane Squeeze initially looked like a sure winner, but Bernietakescharge fought on, nearly getting back on terms with My Mane Squeeze before the winner edged clear in the final 50 yards.   More than 10 lengths separated second from third in the Franklin Square, which was for New York-bred 3-year-old fillies at 1 1/16 miles, with Tricky Temper up by a head over Flight Control for the show. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering? Soloshot and Unicorn Cake were scratched. My Mane Squeeze was timed in 1:18.76 over a fast track and paid $5.20.   Mike Maker trains My Mane Squeeze for owner William Butler, and the filly is by Audible out of In Spite of Mama, by Speightstown.
