Sharedashenanigans, out of the Grade 1-winning turf mare Sharing, has not acquired her mother’s affinity for turf. Thus, trainer Graham Motion is putting Sharedashenanigans back on dirt Wednesday in a first-level allowance sprint at Tampa where several in here are trying to find their way. Sharedashenanigans, by Into Mischief, won her debut on dirt at Laurel last summer. The race wasn’t particularly fast, but it was somewhat productive. The third-place finisher, Pure Majestic, did win a stakes at Laurel. Last fall, Sharedashenanigans competed against some very talented males in Governor Sam and Mi Bago in turf stakes at Colonial Downs and Woodbine, running sixth and fourth, behind those horses. In her 3-year-old debut, Sharedashenanigans finished a well-beaten fifth in a five-furlong race run over Gulfstream’s Tapeta track. :: Access the most trusted data and information in horse racing! Sharedashenanigans is owned by the Flying Dutchmen Stable of Travis and Payton Boersma. “I said to the guys, she broke her maiden on the dirt, she handled it fine, maybe we need to reset,” Motion said. “I loved her the other day, but I think the five-eighths is really quick for her. She’s a better filly than she showed me the other day.” Antonio Gallardo rides Sharedashenanigans from post 7 in this eight-horse field going seven furlongs. Obliging, a daughter of Munnings, is another in this group who won her maiden on dirt but has yet to find success on turf or synthetic. Obliging, trained by Jorge Delgado, finished fourth, beaten three lengths, in a dirt allowance Feb. 12 at Tampa. The winner of that race, Tapirs Valor, came back to finish fourth in the Hutcheson at Gulfstream. Andrea, trained by Saffie Joseph Jr., won her first two starts on dirt, including the Hallandale Beach Stakes going one mile. She hasn’t raced since finishing last behind Five G in the Cash Run Stakes at Gulfstream on New Year’s Day. Five G won Saturday’s Grade 2 Gulfstream Park Oaks. Andrea gets Lasix for the first time and is in for the $75,000 claiming price. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering? Check out DRF's Handicapping 101 and Wagering 101 pages.
