Miss Code West asserted her class Friday night at Remington Park, when she won the $145,000 Oklahoma Classics Distaff by four lengths over Letta’s Legacy. It was another 3 3/4 lengths back in third to 2023 winner, Stormieis Blue. The race was one of eight Oklahoma-bred stakes on the card. The races were worth a cumulative $1 million. The richest offering was the $175,000 Oklahoma Classics Classic won by Inca Empire. Miss Code West ($2.10) stalked the pace in third in the Distaff, as Gospel Fabulous put up fractions of 25.33 seconds for the opening quarter and 49.85 for the half-mile while under pressure from Letta’s Legacy. Kevin Scholl trains Miss Code West, who won all four of her starts last year at Remington, including three stakes, to be named the track’s horse of the meet. Her wins included the Oklahoma Classics Lassie. Miss Code West won her second stakes of the meet Friday and could see more local stakes action this season, in the Useeit, Scholl said in an interview broadcast by Remington. She is 6 for 7 at Remington. “She’s a gift from God,” Scholl said. “She’s talented.” Miss Code West was facing older rivals Friday. Da Prairie Girl was pulled up in the stretch. Miss Code West is a daughter of Code West and races for Jeffrey Puryear and Julie Puryear. Inca Empire takes Classic Inca Empire overtook pacesetter C W Prize for a 1 3/4-length win in the Classic. Winters Lion finished third, 1 1/2 lengths behind C W Prize. Inca Empire ($18.60) settled off fractions of 24.66 for the opening quarter, 49.78 for the half-mile and 1:14.74 for six furlongs before going on to cover the 1 1/16 miles on a fast track in 1:45.31. Isaac Castillo was aboard for trainer Oscar Flores. Danny Caldwell owns Inca Empire, who is a son of Midshipman. Eakly again in Turf Eakly won the $130,000 Turf for the second year in a row when he led throughout for a two-length victory over Mind Bolt. It was another  1 1/4 lengths back in third to the race’s 2022 winner, Tap the Dot. Eakly ($5.80) set fractions of 24.49 for the opening quarter, 49.55 for the half-mile and 1:13.63 for six furlongs before going on to win the 1 1/16 miles turf race run on firm ground in 1:43.63. Jockey Richard Eramia was aboard for trainer Donnie Von Hemel. Eakly is a son of Caleb’s Posse who races for Cheyenne Stable. Quinonez brothers win stakes Jockey Belen Quinonez and his brother, jockey Luis Quinonez, accounted for the 2-year-old stakes on the card Friday.   Elegant Echo ($4) backed up a dominant debut win with a stakes victory in the $100,000 Lassie, closing for a half-length win over Little Iris. Elegant Echo came into the race off a more than five lengths win in a maiden special weight at Remington. In the Lassie, Elegant Echo closed into fractions of 22.55 for the opening quarter and 46.23 for the half-mile before covering six furlongs for 2-year-old fillies in 1:11.98. Belen Quinonez was aboard the daughter of Echo Town for Edward Melzer Revocable Trust and trainer Alan J. Williams. Luis Quinonez guided Mister Omaha ($6.20) to a 5 1/2-length victory over Cajun Stoops in the $100,000 Juvenile. The winner set fractions of 21.87 seconds for the opening quarter and 45.57 for the half-mile before going on to cover six furlongs in 1:11.66. Joe Offolter trains the son of Omaha Beach for Bryan Hawk.   Hawk and Offolter had a second winner on the card when Take Me Serious won the $130,000 Distaff Sprint on the front end. She proved 3 1/2 lengths best over Kachina. Take Me Serious ($2.80) covered six furlongs in 1:10.93. The daughter of Munnings was ridden by Eramia. In the counterpart for males, Lake Bee overcame traffic for a length win over Breakable Code in the $130,000 Sprint. The winner paid $9. He closed into fractions of 22.11 for the opening quarter and 45.03 for the half-mile before covering six furlongs on a fast track in 1:10.25. Jose Alvarez was aboard Lake Bee for trainer Miguel Silva. Lake Bee is by Bee Jersey and he is owned by Silva Racing.  Doudoudouwanadance victorious in Distaff Turf Doudoudouwanadance won her second consecutive stakes of the meet in the $130,000 Distaff Turf. She was a two-length winner over Run Slewpy Run, who was seeking to win the race for the third time. Doudoudouwanadance came into the Distaff Turf off a win in the Bob Barry Memorial. Doudoudouwanadance ($3.20) on Friday set the pace and went on to cover the 1 1/16 miles on firm turf in 1:44.52.
