Michael Hammersly provides his analysis, selections and suggested ticket structure for Saratoga's Travers Day Pick 6.  Race 7: GAMINE (#1) is a beast around one turn and figures to wing it from the rail. If she’s to be upset LAKE AVENUE (#2) may have the best shot as she comes here with improving form. Race 8: LEXITONIAN (#3) looked like a new horse, showing much more speed when gamely winning the Grade 1 Vanderbilt. MISCHEVIOUS ALEX (#1) came out of the Vanderbilt with an ailment. If back to his best he’s scary. WHITMORE (#2) is a terrific ol’ warrior who fires every time. MIND CONTROL (#4) appeared rejuvenated with a game Grade 2 Nerud win. YAUPON (#7) looked back to his best with a strong comeback win at PIM in July. Race 9: JACKIE’S WARRIOR (#2) was impressive winning the Grade 2 Amsterdam here and is again the one to catch. LIFE IS GOOD (#6) has worlds of talent and while this is his first start since being injured he’s been working as if he’s ready. Build your ticket with DRF Bets TicketMaker here. Race 10: SWISS SKYDIVER (#4) ran well vs. top males in the Grade 1 Whitney and may be peaking. LETRUSKA (#6) has become the top female in the land using her speed. Race 11: CROSS BORDER (#7) thinks he owns this place. The way he won the Grade 2 Bowling Green says today’s added ground shouldn’t be a bother. ROCKEMPEROR (#3) ran second to ‘BORDER and the added ground may help him. TRIBHUVAN (#1) figures to wing early and he’s now a Grade 1 winner doing so. The question is whether he can carry his speed this far. GUFO (#2) figures to be coming, though he often leaves himself with too much to do turning for home. Race 12: ESSENTIAL QUALITY (#2) rules the roost among 3-year-old males. His Grade 2 Jim Dandy win here was more workmanlike than brilliant but it should serve as an ideal launching pad to come into this at full tilt. DYNAMIC ONE (#4) looked super winning the Curlin here. He’s always had ability and may be putting it all together. The ticket: 1, 2/1, 2, 3, 4, 7/2, 6/4, 6/1, 2, 3, 7/2, 4 X $1 for $320
