More importantly, he comes into this tilt off a closing second-place finish against NW5000L5 foes at Harrah's Philadelphia for a barn that's been hot. (4) LAZARUS STAR is just one-for-26 in the win column but has finished second in three of his last five outings in this class. (2) QUANTUM qualified nicely overly the oval on 12-21 for a stable that's capable of having one ready to fire right off the bench. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2 - NW7500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 83.5 or Less as of 12-30-24 / 4YOs Not 3rd or Better L4 Starts Trot (6) TOM SWIFTY finds the softest spot he's been in on the East Coast since he came in from Ohio and was fifth against NW12500L4's at the Meadowlands two starts back. (8) DULY RESOLVED finished second or third in all of his tries over at Harrah's Philadelphia against NW15000L5 and NW10000L5 company after returning to action last month. (4) PINEWOOD HANOVER makes his second appearance back after some time off. He qualified well at the Meadowlands on December 21 and was sharp out at Harrah's Hoosier Park in the summer. He is an early speed-lacker but catches a questionable group here and perhaps will offer better value than he did seven nights ago. (7) DANCE IT OUT drops from the TrackMaster 80.5 or Less class and was second in his one appearance at this level on December 7. (3) GEMINI EXPRESS struggled in two outings against those same TrackMaster 80.5 or Less rivals but was a dominant winner (over DANCE IT OUT) in that common TrackMaster 77.5 or Less tilt on the 7th of December. Race 4 - 15000-20000CLM HCP Pace (5) SNOUZE U LOUZE scored two back at Yonkers for a barn that was hot at the Meadowlands last Saturday and often has their trainees improve when they get to stretch out on the big track as a whole. (8) LUKE MCGOOK continues to rack up second-place finishes in this class and that's where I'm going to slot him again tonight. (2) CAPTAIN TERMINATOR starts from another inside post and was third in the same race LUKE MCGOOK exits from a week ago. Race 5 - Winners of 2 but not more than 4 Ext. PM Races or 50000LT Pace (10) REMEMBER THE ALAMO hasn't been seen on a pari-mutuel basis since Hambletonian Day and starts from post ten. However, he qualified back well and showed enough talent at 3 to beat eventual Breeders Crown champion Mirage Hanover in the Pepsi North America Cup consolation at one time. I'll swing. (1) TARANAKI toured the oval from post ten a week ago but his solid season as a sophomore included a fourth in the New York Sire Stakes final, and he starts from the pole position this time. (2) BUILD A WALL has been stacking up victories in recent weeks and that sick scratch on 12-13 didn't seem to bother him at all last Saturday as he rolled to another tally. Race 6 - 25000-30000CLM HCP Pace ***$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool*** (5) REVOLVER N never found the winner's circle in 2024, but I think he could have a little bit of sneaky form given his sharp final quarters in his last two outings. I'll swing and hope that he starts out this year on a victorious note. (6) DIAMONDBEACH isn't the most reliable sort but he often fires at Yonkers when teamed up with Jason Bartlett like is the case tonight. (10) HUNT FOR CASH landed post ten but has been first or second in four of his last five tries, including a win in this class on November 30. Race 7 - TrackMaster Rating 80.5 or Less as of 12-30-24 Pace (4) T DOG moves over to this level from the MADC 2 class and gets a chance with a catch driver. He's been closing out his miles pretty well and is worth a chance. (6) BAILEYS ROCK N had a win and a third against TrackMaster 74.5's and then TrackMaster 77.5's and gets reunited with Vinny Ginsburg. (10) LOUIS LITT N has overcome the ten-hole twice in his lines to hit the board, and I'll look for him to do that again here. Race 8 - F&M NW12500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 86.5 or Less as of 12-30-24 / NW20000L4 or TrackMaster Rating 90.5 or Less Draw Outside Pace (7) LLOYD'S LOVES finished up a tremendous 2024 campaign with a tally in the top class at Yonkers on 12-20 and showed the ability to use multiple styles to win over the half-mile track. (2) VIBRANCE closed well in on-the-board finishes in her last two tries at Harrah's Philadelphia, both of which came after she added Lasix. She gets significant post relief here. (4) BLOOD MOON A defeated VIBRANCE over at Harrah's Philadelphia when they met on December 27 and has hit the board in three of her last five efforts overall. Race 9 - NW12500L4 / TrackMaster Rating 86.5 or Less as of 12-30-24 Trot (8) SOUTHWIND COORS makes his second start for trainer Ron Burke here. He was a gaining fifth in the top class over at Yonkers in his debut for that stable on 12-19 and all of his best career efforts have come on the big track at Woodbine Mohawk Park. (2) TACHYON posted a runner-up finish against NW15000L5 company at Yonkers to complete his 2024 campaign and shows lines in the MGM Grand Prix Trotting Series versus the likes of It's Academic. (3) PURPLE LORD has had success at the Meadowlands before and has hit the board in three of his last five tries. Race 10 - NW12500L4 / NW2250 Per Start in 2023-24 / NW8 Ext. PM Races LT ***$50,000 Guaranteed Pick 4 Pool*** (2) STAY GROUNDED posted a gaining third-place finish in his last try against NW20000L4 company at Harrah's Philadelphia. The horse he was behind in that event, Virgo, came back to tally at Harrah's Philadelphia on New Year's Eve. (1) MAD MAX HANOVER tired from first-over last week but won at this level prior to that, and I don't think this is as tough a group as he faced a week ago. (7) BRUTALLYHANDSOME A shows two runner-up results at this level at the Meadowlands, to go with a tally over NW7500L4 rivals, in his last four trips behind the gate. Race 11 - NW7500L4 / NW1750 Per Start in 2024 Pace (9) SLING SHOCK didn't draw well tonight but had pace on the end of a fourth-place finish against NW12500L4 foes a week ago. He drops here and won a couple of times at the Meadowlands in 2024. (3) PRIMARY COLORS drops again here but lost ground in the final quarter when he slid down to the NW12500L4 level last Saturday. I'll swing against for win but respect his chances given he shows a third in the Preferred as recently as 11-23. (1) CAPTAIN UP makes his second start back after a qualifier tonight and closed out his mile last week with plenty of pace. He slides in from the nine-hole to the pole position, too. Race 12 - NW5000L4 / NW1500 Per Start in 2024 Pace (6) ON ACCIDENT gained several positions in the final quarter of a NW7500L4 race a week ago and drops tonight while he also moves in on the gate a few notches. (2) HAGGARD owns a win at this level back on November 23 and was a rallying third against NW7500L4 foes on 11-30. He returns from Freehold tonight after he closed well in a third-place effort from post seven. (1) SWEET JEFF IR came in second to a well-meant rival last Saturday and makes his second appearance back in the Burke stable. I also think this should be a softer spot than those claiming handicap races he's been in. (8) IT'S IN THE STARS overcame post ten to grab a third against NW5000L4 rivals when last seen on 12-7 and drops a notch on the class ladder here. (6) WHOLE LOTTA LOU makes his second start back after a layoff, gets a bit of post relief and has had plenty of success at the Meadowlands in the past. Race 14 - NW2000L4 Pace (2) BUGABOO LOU lacks super-obvious form but was in against NW15000L5 company at Yonkers as recently as late November and was fourth two back against NW5000L5's at Freehold. I'll swing with him. (3) BOBCAT BAY is likely to be favored again but was third at this level on 12-6 in his best effort since the qualifier on 11-8. He's a pass for the win spot for me. (7) UP JOEYS CREDIT shows back-to-back 27 and change final quarters and takes a second crack at NW2000L4 foes after coming in fifth in his last try on the 13th of December.
