(8) IAMMRBRIGHTSIDE N is still chugging along at age 14 and he responded nicely to the barn change himself last week with a good second-place finish. (5) ROCKABILLY CHARM left and got a big piece last weekend; threat on best. [DRF HARNESS: Get Harness Eye PPs for this card] Race 2: $7,500-$10,000 Claiming Handicap (2) SOUTHWIND DREDGE outdraws the logical contenders here and I can definitely see a very aggressive try coming. (10) LOVIN ON YOU & (9) BARON CHANCEY are both getting claiming price reductions and have the early speed to make noise from the bad draws; very playable. [DRF BETS: Wager on tonight's Meadowlands card at DRF Bets.com!] Race 3: Trackmaster 71.5 (NW L2/2L4 72/72.5) or less/NW1 in 2024 - Survivor 7 (3) EA MUSHU stopped badly last time but those kind of efforts are usually easily correctable and don’t linger from week to week. She’s worth a look here at a price. (2) THANEEYA loomed and flattened last time. The inside post tonight could help. (8) SANDY COURT had some pace at both ends of the mile last time. That’s a positive in this bottom-level event. Race 4: Non-winners $3,000 (NW L2 $3,571) in last 4 or $1,250 p.s. in 2024/TM 77 (NW L2/2L4/2L10 77.5/78/78.90) or less (5) NARANJO gets an interesting driver change here to Boyd after a couple of decent efforts. I can see him being put in play earlier tonight. (2) ALLSUMMERLONG AS was up against it from post seven at Pocono last time. She loses Boyd tonight but certainly figures as the highest money earner in the field in 2024. (1) CONGRESS HILL EVA raced well in this class last weekend. (10) CENTURY INVADER looked good winning his first start of the year but followed it up with a break. He adds hobbles again and perhaps that helps. Race 5: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (1) ROCKFORD PEACH switches to the amateur ranks for a driver that has been hot in this series. She also has some early speed to gain good position. (5) FIRSTUP came up second best last time in a good mile; threat again. (4) JIM STRIKESITRICH went a huge mile two starts back and he’s clearly capable of doing it again. Race 6: Trackmaster 77 (NW L2/2L4/2L8/3YO 77.5/78/78.9/79.65) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (8) TWIN B EMPRESS raced well in defeat last time at Pocono and won her two prior starts. She could pick up her game switching back to a larger track. (5) LADY WISHES is certainly sharp and possibly capable of handling this mildly better group. (9) CLASSIC CRUNCH woke up in start two for this barn. She owns the fastest win time in the field and she’s another one that could potentially move up on a mile oval. Race 7: Trackmaster 77 (NW L2/2L4/2L8 77.5/78.05/78.84) or less (8) CAVIART CAMDEN left himself with too much to do and couldn’t quite get to (1) TREY ROCKETTE last weekend. He can definitely turn the tables with slightly more forwardly-placed tactics. The latter has now won two straight and shouldn’t be bothered too much by the class jump. (4) LOUIS LITT N has been closing nicely each week from impossible spots; closer tonight? Race 8: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2/2L4/L8 75/75.5/76.25) or less - Pick 6 (3) RACIN FOR ROYALTY raced well two starts back and then got stuck in post nine last time. She’s won over this track the last two years and certainly seems to have found a good spot. (1) KAY SAGE is back at the level of her last win two starts back. (9) AT THE HOP has the early speed to overcome the outside post and enough form to menace in a field like this one. Race 9: Meadowlands Amateur Drivers Club 1 Pace (5) ROCK JAGGER went a big mile in defeat most recently and had a tough trip the start before as well. Any type of smooth trip gives him a huge win chance. (4) WHAMMER JAMMER always races well in this class and is certainly a win threat. (10) CAPTAIN TERMINATOR gets another tough draw to deal with; needs a smooth trip. (7) PADUKA N can fire off the gate and be a threat if he doesn’t have to work too hard. Race 10: Non-winners $5,000 (NW L2 $5,571) in last 4/TM 80 (NW L2/2L4 80.5/81.10) or less - $50K GTD Pick 4 (1) HURRIKANE LADY LOU impressed last Saturday with a sharp rally from far back and her 1:49 4/5 win this year certainly jumps off the page a bit. She moves to the inside of the gate now and should be able to stick a bit closer. (6) ILLUSION SEELSTER flashed speed and wasn’t bad in this class a week ago. (5) SUPER GIRL moves into the Burke barn and will certainly be bet on that angle; improves despite four weeks off? Race 11: Non-winners $5,000 (NW 2L5 $5,501) in last 4 or $1,500 p.s. in 2024/TM 80 (NW L2/2L4 80.5/81) or less (5) LITTLE EXPENSIVE is a bit of a tease horse that looks like he is going to win but doesn’t quite seal the deal. He spun his wheels a bit late last time as the chalk but I’ll reluctantly give him another shot adding Lasix here. (2) WARRIOR ONE seems likely to fire off the wings with owner Gingras, who is only showing up for a couple of horses, in the bike. Eight-year-old has big an earner for years. (4) STARLIT RAMBO will be a good price again tonight and he did beat #2 at 102-1 last time and on Oct. 25 at 85-1. Race 12: Trackmaster 74.5 (NW L2/2L4/2L6/3YO 75/75.5/75.85/76.05) or less (10) HYPEBEAST was much better in reality than his last line looks as he was saved along the pylons and finished up very willingly. His prior effort was a narrow loss in a high TM class. The post isn’t ideal but this 3-year-old has the early speed to overcome. (4) ITS SHOWTIME is down in class tonight and also gets a better post to start from. (7) ER VEGAS wasn’t ready for primetime in his first start since June; should improve. [DRF HARNESS: Sign up for our FREE DRF Harness Digest Newsletter] Race 13: Non-winners $7,500 (NW L2 $8,541) in last 4/TM 83.5 or less/TM 86.5 or less draw outside (7) CANIGETALOUPLOUP faces her elders but seems a bit out of place in such a low-level overnight race. Her last appearance in an overnight was in a higher place a few starts back and she won. Her last line in the Matron is a complete throw-out from an outside post at Dover. (6) REIGNING JADE bottomed out the field in her last try here on November 1. A similar performance would make her very formidable. (8) DIXIE DREAM comes off a win in this class; moves outside on the gate and losses Dunn. Race 14: Trackmaster 71.5 (NW L2/2L4 72/72.75) or less (6) BARBOSSA HANOVER looks like the sharpest horse on paper and if he picks up his game a bit on the mile track they should find him tough to beat. (5) THE OPENER finally stayed flat and paced home with good late energy in his last qualifier. If the ship has finally been righted he can be competitive in a field with a number of potential early speed player to set him up. (8) AINTNOBETTOR A has consecutive seconds in this class the last two weekends.
