March Madness odds: Top 10 national title favorites and odds As promised, here are the 10 current favorites — and their corresponding consensus and best-value (in parenthesis) odds — to win the men’s NCAA Tournament, which gets underway March 18.  The 2025 Final Four is scheduled for April 5 in San Antonio with the national championship game set for 9 p.m. April 7. Duke +345 (+375 at BetMGM Sportsbook) Auburn +355 (+370 at DraftKings Sportsbook) Houston +765 (+850 at FanDuel Sportsbook) Florida +965 (+1000 at Caesars Sportsbook) Alabama +1225 (+1300 at DraftKings) Tennessee +1325 (+1500 at BetMGM) Iowa State +2175 (+2500 at FanDuel) St. John’s +2425 (+2500 at FanDuel) Michigan State +2625 (+2800 at DraftKings) Texas Tech +3375 (+4000 at BetMGM) The Southeastern (four teams) and Big 12 (three) Conferences account for seven of the above top 10. But Duke, the Atlantic Coast Conference front-runner and the current No. 2 team in the Associated Press Top-25 poll, is the biggest national title betting liability for BetMGM. The sportsbook reported that the Blue Devils easily account for its highest ticket (13.6) and handle (21.8) percentages as of early this week. Top-ranked Auburn, which was upset by No. 22 Texas A&M on Tuesday night, was second in BetMGM’s national title ticket splits at 7.5 percent while Big 12-champion Houston was second in handle percentage at 9.0 percent. TheLines.com: Bracketology Betting Odds To Make NCAA Tournament: Indiana, North Carolina, Xavier? March Madness odds: Three teams trending hot entering conference tourney play Finally, here are three teams on late-season surges who have seen notable upticks in betting interest of late … Michigan State It’s been a surprising five years since Sparty even earned a share of the Big Ten regular season title. But coach Tom Izzo’s team (24-5) entered Wednesday with a one-game lead atop the conference, thanks to a five-game win streak which has included victories over top-16-ranked foes Purdue, Michigan, Maryland and Wisconsin. The Spartans rank as BetMGM’s second-largest national championship liability behind Duke as their title odds have increased from +4000 to +3000 over the last week.  Michigan State (+500) is also DraftKings’ most-bet team, by total handle, to reach the Final Four — a feat the Spartans haven’t accomplished since 2019. St. John’s The sixth-ranked Red Storm (26-4) has clinched its first outright regular season Big East title since 1985. And coach Rick Pitino’s squad has lost only once — going 15-1 — since the start of the New Year. The Johnnies last participated in the Big Dance in 2019 (a First Four loss) and have made only three appearances since 2002. That’s a big reason why their national title odds opened at +8000 but are now down to +2500 at BetMGM.  Meanwhile St. John’s ranks as DraftKings’ fourth-most bet team, by handle, to reach the Final Four at +450.  Missouri  Mizzou (21-8), currently ranked 15th and sitting in fifth place in the SEC, is only 4-4 over its last eight games.  But the Dennis Gates-coached Tigers have made one of the biggest gains on the BetMGM national championship oddsboard over the last week, jumping from +5000 to +3000. Going 10-6 (entering Wednesday night’s game against Oklahoma) in the stacked SEC will certainly make an impression, especially when two of the wins have come against top-five foes Florida (83-82) and Alabama (110-98) since mid-January.
