ARCADIA, Calif. – The undefeated 3-year-old Life Is Good worked a half-mile in 47 seconds on Monday at Santa Anita, his first workout since a win in the Grade 3 Sham Stakes at a mile on Jan. 2. :: Enhance your handicapping with DRF’s Santa Anita Clocker Report Trainer Bob Baffert said he timed Life Is Good in a slightly slower 47.40. “He did it easy,” Baffert said. “He was pretty fresh. He looked like he was galloping out there.” Baffert said he does not have any immediate race goals for Life Is Good, who has emerged as an exciting prospect for the Triple Crown races this spring. Life Is Good has won both his starts, beginning with a maiden race at Del Mar in November. “The main thing is to keep him healthy,” Baffert said.
