NORTH RANDALL, Ohio - King of the Roxy lived up to his advance billing when he rallllied up the rail to make the lead in late stretch and then drew off to a 1 1/2-length win over nine Ohio-bred peers in the $50,000 Honey Jay stakes here Friday. Tri-Unimet was second, two lengths ahead of Royal Nemesis. King of the Roxy, a 5-year-old son of Littleexpectations, is a two-time graded stakes winner and was making his first start on his native soil. He is owned by Team Valor LLC, trained by Todd Pletcher, and was ridden by Orlando Mojica. He covered the six furlongs in 1:10: 28 over a good track and returned $3 to win.
