The NFL playoffs are upon us, and player injuries take on added importance now that it’s win-or-go-home time.  Following are some key player injuries to track for the 12 teams in action on wild card weekend. Having the latest updates is a must for those taking advantage of our top online sports betting offers.     Hurts, Love headline quarterback injuries   Sunday afternoon’s late game between the Green Bay Packers and Philadelphia Eagles features quarterback injury questions on both sides. Eagles dual-threat QB Jalen Hurts missed the final two regular season games with a concussion and was still in the league’s head-injury protocol as of Wednesday. Hurts, though, did practice Wednesday as a limited participant -- improving his chances of returning Sunday for the NFC’s second-seeded Eagles. He will need to continue progressing throughout the week. If Hurts is unable to play, either Tanner McKee or Kenny Pickett will get the call against the Pack. And as for Green Bay, starting QB Jordan Love departed in the second quarter of the team’s regular-season finale with an elbow injury that caused him to lose feeling in his throwing hand. Packers coach Matt LaFleur said Monday that Love is “going to be OK,” but his progress in practices this week will certainly need to be monitored. He kicked things off Wednesday with a limited-participation session but did do some throwing. For the Washington Commanders, rookie starter Jayden Daniels was pulled at halftime of the team’s Week 18 game due to unspecified “leg soreness.”  Daniels, though, practiced fully Wednesday, putting him on track to start Sunday night's wild card matchup with the host Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Banged-up running backs include Edwards, Hill Los Angeles Chargers running back Gus Edwards is hoping to return for the team’s Saturday afternoon wild card game in Houston after missing the final two contests of the regular season with an ankle injury. Edwards has been limited in practices so far this week, keeping his status for Saturday in question. Baltimore Ravens RB Justice Hill is hoping to return to action Saturday night against the rival Pittsburgh Steelers after sitting out Weeks 17 and 18 with an illness on top of a concussion. The versatile back was a full practice participant Wednesday, and as long as he doesn't have a late-week setback, look for him to suit up and play Saturday night. One running back we won’t be seeing this postseason is Los Angeles Rams rookie backup Blake Corum, who suffered a fractured forearm in Week 18 and is out for the playoffs. Ravens’ Flowers, Bucs’ Otton among pass-catchers eyeing returns Ravens Pro Bowl wide receiver Zay Flowers leads the team in receptions and receiving yards but exited the team’s regular-season finale with a knee sprain. His playoff status for Saturday night is classified as day-to-day, and he sat out the Ravens' first practice session on Tuesday. It's not looking especially promising, but he still has a shot to make a late-week rebound.  Buccaneers tight end Cade Otton is also hoping to play this weekend after missing Weeks 16-18 with a knee injury. Tampa Bay coach Todd Bowles said Wednesday that Otton is "trending in the right direction" to return Sunday night, but his level of participation in practices Thursday and Friday will be more telling. Among the wide receivers who should play this weekend are the Buffalo Bills’ Amari Cooper (missed Week 18 due to an undisclosed family matter) and the Eagles’ A.J. Brown (knee) and DeVonta Smith (wrist), who were both held out of the regular-season finale out of precaution as much as anything. On the flip side, Packers speedy wideout Christian Watson will miss the postseason after suffering a torn ACL in Week 18. Key defensive injuries include Winfield, Bernard Bucs All-Pro safety Antoine Winfield Jr. is a playoff question mark after missing the team’s final four regular season games with a knee injury. Winfield, however, was able to log a full practice Wednesday -- a very good sign for his potential availability Sunday night. For the Bills, linebacker Terrel Bernard, the team’s second-leading tackler, sat out Week 18 with a quadriceps injury. But coach Sean McDermott said Wednesday that Bernard will play Sunday against the visiting Denver Broncos. Meanwhile in Green Bay, linebacker Quay Walker was sidelined for the final three games of the regular season, but  LaFleur said Monday he’s “optimistic” that the team’s leading tackler will be able to play Sunday in Philly. Walker was a limited participant in Green Bay's first practice of the week on Wednesday. Commanders cornerback Marshon Lattimore missed seven games down the stretch, including Weeks 17 and 18, with a nagging hamstring injury.  But Washington is hoping to have the midseason trade acquisition available to face his former NFC South-rival Mike Evans and the Bucs on Sunday night. Lattimore is off to strong start, practicing fully Wednesday.
