Heza Wild Guy cruised to a four-length win to capture his third consecutive To Much Coffee at Hoosier Park on Sunday. The 9-year-old gelding was kept in mid-pack early by jockey Tommy Pompell and then roused in the stretch. "He is always such a nice horse to ride." Said Pompell, aboard for all three To Much Coffee victories. "I had him fourth sitting behind the pace through the stretch and tried to keep him along the inside. But I didn't want to get him trapped. Then I brought him out in the turn and it was all him from there on." The final margin of victory was four lengths. Royaly Luckey gained late for second, a neck in front of Brickyard in third. The running time for the 1 1/16 miles was 1.43.00. Heza Wild Guy returned $10.60 to win.
