He's pretty clearly ramping up. 7 - CHARGER BLUE CHIP landed in the pocket from post 9 on debut for Mosher and just missed even after that early exertion. Form as a whole is pretty solid. 5 - REGAL HOPE mounted a solid late push from astern in the same race where Charger Blue Chip just missed. The addition of Brennan and a kinder midpack draw can give him just a little more oomph. Race 3 - F&M Non-Winners $7,000 Last 5 Starts 2 - AMERICAN EMPRESS N pressed hard two back and finished second, and more recently held third after blasting clear from post 7. Post relief can lift her the rest of the way on arrival, and the addition of Brennan can aid too. While she moves laterally, five of her rivals step up in class. 5 - SIDEWALK DANCER just missed from an earned pocket at Ocean last week, and that mile reflected marked improvement from a failed middle move the week before. She'll have to improve similarly on arrival, but she more than held her own in tougher races all winter at Dover. 3 - SWEET LULLABY crosses over from $12.5k claiming company after earning in all three of her tries at the tag. Inside draw can help her stay close; raw speed is a good fit for this group. Race 4 - Claiming $12,500 2 - POP'S ROMEO pressed hard on the outside and just missed Sports Charm at the $10k level last week. He steps up on debut for Addison; inside draw in a fairly manageable group can help him weather the mild rise. 5 - MATT MAJOR passed tired foes from astern on arrival two weeks ago, and he improved belatedly for third in a $20k starter three back. Versatility is a definite strength; can reasonably factor in all exotics. She proved her outside leaving ability amply two, three and five back. Give her a pass for the rearward outing on July 29; she should be involved here with ease. 6 - SWEET TALKER showed refreshed closing ability last week after some early summer woes. A repeat of her late rally to nab Winning Words for second surely puts her in the Hi-5 mix. Race 6 - Non-Winners 1 Race 1 - GENEROUS POUR drops from Stallion Series company and draws inside on arrival. Raw speed is among the best in the group. 5 - RUN LIKE HILL worked clear, yielded, and held third while toiling in his last after a break coast him at evens on debut. Kinder draw can aid; mind value. 3 - I AM THE STORM finished fourth or better in his last four starts, all at the level. Solid minor option figures to be prominent with ease noting minimal inside speed. She proved outside leaving ability amply in a 13-1 upset three back; can share under the right circumstances.
