U R All That I Am ($7.40), given a perfect trip by jockey Kevin Krigger, outfinished odds-on Antares World to capture the $50,300 Work the Crowd Stakes at Golden Gate Fields on Saturday. Antares World set a moderate pace but was under pressure from Ms. G. I. Jane, the longest shot on the board, throughout the race as Krigger sat comfortably in third in the one mile stakes for California-bred or sired fillies and mares. Ms. G. I. Jane, who sat a half-length off Antares World down the backstretch, pulled within a head of her at the quarter pole and had her head in front at the eighth pole, but U R All That I Am eased out and had begun her challenge turning for home. Ms. G. I. Jane began to fade as Antares World reclaimed the lead and dug in. But U R All That I Am had momentum and rushed past her, pulling away late to win by one length in 1:37.87. “We just sat off the speed and waited until it was time to go," Krigger said. "When I asked her turning for home, she was gone. Antares World tried to come back, but I had too much horse.” Antares World’s jockey Frank Alvarado said his filly ran well and that the pace was perfect. “I wish they would have left me alone, but I have no excuse,” he said. U R All That I Am, a 5-year-old Valid Wager mare trained by Jerry Hollendorfer, earned $30,300 for owner Tommy Town Thoroughbreds with her 10th win in 24 starts. She has earned $404,529.
