Bidding for the 31 horses entered in the Glen Todd dispersal sale will be accepted online only at digital.fasigtipton.com from April 27 to May 3. No reserves have been set.  Todd, who was the leading owner at Hastings Racecourse in Vancouver, British Columbia 10 times, died on March 27. He was 75 years old.  The horses are stabled at Pegasus Training and Equine Rehabilitation Center in Redmond, Wash. Most of the horses were in training at Hastings prior to Todd’s death and have stayed in training at Pegasus.  :: DRF BREEDING LIVE: Real-time coverage of breeding and sales They can be viewed in training from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on April 22, 23, 25, and 26. People wanting to view the horses must sign up with Brooke Ferguson, the office manager at Pegasus. Her email address is bferguson@pegasustrainingcenter.com.  “There will also be access online to X-rays, throat scoping and conformation walks,” said trainer Mike Puhich who won the 2012 Longacres Mile for Todd with Taylor Said. “We decided to have the sale online because we are a bit isolated here. Bids can come from anywhere and we have had a lot of interest so far. It was an end of an era when Glen died. He meant so much to so many people in British Columbia and Washington.” There are three older horses entered in the sale, including Grade 3 winner Five Star General, who was the runner-up in the Grade 3 Longacres Mile in 2020 and third in last year’s Mile. The 5-year-old mare Princess of Cairo should attract plenty of local interest as she romped in her two starts at Emerald Downs in the 2020 Washington Oaks and 2021 Emerald Downs Distaff.  Broad Approval was the runner-up at Emerald last year in the $50,000 Kent and $50,000 Washington Oaks.  Seven 3-year-olds, 14 2-year-olds, and seven yearlings make up the remainder of the horses in the sale.  Pedigrees and past performances will be available from Fasig-Tipton on Friday.
