OPELOUSAS, La. - Flawless Gold, in her first attempt on grass, took control of Saturday night's $50,000 Tellike Stakes at Evangeline Downs soon after the start and cruised to a 3 1/2-length win. Fellow longshot Dubin finished second with Alphadoodle reporting home third. Trained by Maynard Chatters and ridden by Nathaniel Puello, Flawless Gold ($51.80) was making her 10th start in the Tellike and winning for the fourth time. The daughter of Gold Tribute made her first start in stakes company a winning one and has now earned just over $100,000. The final time for the five furlongs over firm going was 55.48.
