HOT SPRINGS, Ark. - Eda will be scratched from the Grade 3, $600,000 Fantasy on Saturday at Oaklawn Park, according to her trainer, Bob Baffert.   Baffert said the Grade 1 winner spiked a slight temperature on Monday.   “Her blood work was not super-perfect, so we didn’t put her on the plane,” he said of the Tuesday flight coming in from Southern California.  Eda's defection makes for a field of eight for the Fantasy.  The Southern California-based horses arrived in the Oaklawn stable area around 6 p.m. Central on Tuesday, said Jennifer Hoyt, the track’s director of racing. Doppelganger is in town for the Arkansas Derby, Cezzane and Law Professor for the Oaklawn Mile, and champion Storm the Court for an allowance. The races are all on Saturday. Hoyt said Dark Vader, who is entered in the Oaklawn Mile, did not travel with the group as scheduled. The horses took a flight to Memphis, then vanned about three hours to Oaklawn. *Arabian Song, the dam of Country Grammer, winner of last Saturday’s Dubai World Cup, also had an Oaklawn winner last week in Joyful Cadence. She captured an allowance March 20. She is a half-sister to Country Grammer. :: DRF's Arkansas Derby Day headquarters – Previews, past performances, picks, and more
