OCEANPORT, N.J. - Dubai Majesty rallied widest and fastest of all to take the $93,000 Incredible Revenge Stakes for filly and mare turf sprinters Sunday at Monmouth Park. Switching to grass following a third in the Grade 1 Princess Rooney at Calder, Dubai Majesty was the trailer for most of 5 1/2-furlong dash. Miguel Mena swung the 5-year-old to the far outside turning for home, and Dubai Majesty took off. She got up in the final strides to edge West Ocean, the 1-2 favorite, by a neck. Dubai Majesty earned her 10th career win and third on the grass. Trained by Bret Calhoun, Dubai Majesty paid $6.40 to win. “She didn’t handle the track all that well at Calder last time, but ran well,” Calhoun said. “We were excited about this spot and coming here with her. She’s run well on turf and dirt and ran very well today.” The time was 1:02.20 on the firm course. West Ocean made a bold bid in the lane to extend her stakes winning streak to four for Todd Pletcher, Monmouth’s leading trainer. Four wide throughout, West Ocean took the lead in midstretch and continued gamely to the wire. Lady Rizzi was third, followed by Forever Grateful, Candy Cane, and Glitter City.
