Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 1:39 GP 2nd POLIGLOTA (#10, 5-1) tried a tough 9 furlongs in his debut going two turns at Tampa and then blew the start. The fact that connections thought this horse could handle that distance in his debut is encouraging. He ran better in his second start which came here and he didn't get a clean trip. He was washed off in his most recent but still managed to beat half the field home. That race came back key when 2 of 7 returned to win with figs of 69 and 72 (2 more finished second with figs of 76 and 47). A return to the sod should prove the tipping point. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:37 GP 4th CANDY LANDY (#8, 5-1) ran evenly in her debut and it came on the green at Ellis Park. This 3YO, that cost 500K, returned off the layoff and ran a solid third and that was her first start here and only her second start on the grass. We like that connections want a mile right back and most horses improve the second time they try anything. We think this filly sits just off the pace today while recent works can only help. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:07 GP 5th EMBRACE THE DREAM (#10, 10-1) didn't do much in his debut but you try going seven panels in your debut and see how it works out. Barn switch has D'Angelo calling the shots now and he is 20% with new runners. Blinkers and first Lasix can't hurt and we do like this outside post even if going only five furlongs. Works are well spaced. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:52 GP 8th APRIL'S DIAMANTE (#2, 8-1) won her turf debut and then beat over half the field home in her second turf start (see two back). She was washed off in her most recent at Tampa but we like that connections ran her anyway as she probably needed that race. Now she comes here and finds a spot where she can't be claimed. She is bred to love two turns on the grass with her turf and distance Tomlinsons of 350/395. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:15 GG 7th For a six-filly field, this starter allowance at six furlongs has several contenders. CHAMAVILLE (#4, 9-2) has been underrated by bettors in her last two starts, winning at 9-2 and 5-1, and may finally get the credit she deserves in this field. Chamaville is quick enough to be part of the pace and also effective as a stalker, which could be a preferred strategy in a race that should have a quick tempo. Assael Espinoza has ridden Chamaville in her last five starts and knows the improving filly's strengths. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:45 GG 8th NAFTIS (#2, 9-2) is a first-time starter by the capable stallion Sir Prancealot who is drawn well in post 2 to be prominent early and avoid traffic issues in what is by far the biggest field of the day. Naftis is trained by Steve Specht who has a solid record with debut runners. The recent five-furlong works are promising. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets
