1:00 KEE 1st WIND AT MY BACK (#2, 5-1) was beaten 15 lengths in career debut, but still split the field debuting on a sloppy track. Wasn't just any MSW in which he ran, either, but a strong race for the class level, making the drop to $50K maiden-claiming all the more meaningful. Five works since and he is set to run much better and contend for win in this second start. -Marcus Hersh 1:32 KEE 2nd MOUNTAIN GHOST (#1, 10-1) did little running in his career debut and lone start to date, but that easily could have been his dislike of the TP Tapeta. Blinkers, drop down one level, five works -- including a snappy half-mile in final drill for this -- since his debut. Race lacks speed - might he be hustled straight to the front with aggressive jockey breaking from the fence? -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:40 WO 2nd BOKERMIN (#4, 9-2) ran well in his last three outings in the fall and should be dangerous in this NW3 tilt. He worked five-eighths twice this month and should be fairly fit. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:59 TAM 4th ASPROPODIA (#1, 6-1) turns back from routes and this may well be her best game; she'll be looking to make the last run, and will need to avoid traffic from this inside post, but given a clean trip and an honest pace up front she should make her presence felt late, as there are not many in here with a proven late kick. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:04 KEE 3rd SCALES OF JUSTICE (#8, 6-1) is the seventh foal to race produced by Balance, a very good dirt horse during her racing career, but a dam whose offspring have shown a very strong preference for turf over dirt. Scales of Justice has yet to try grass, and his sire, Uncle Mo, also is a source of turfiness. Just ran the best race of his life when stretched to this 12-furlong distance on dirt. -Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:31 TAM 5th JO JO HANS (#8, 8-1) has plenty of angles going for him -- first off the layoff, first time Lasix, blinkers off -- and all of those moves by trainer Ron Potts have resulted in positive returns; the dam and her only other starter, Sixers City, were best sprinting on the grass, but this gelding merits a look based on the barn's stats and the strong work tab leading up to his first start of 2022. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:42 WO 4th LOYALTY (#8, 6-1) is a nicely-bred half-sister to G1 BC Filly and Mare Sprint winner Shamrock Rose and the stakes-placed runners My Friends Beer and Bet On Mike. She worked well from the gate here last weekend after a series of Palm Meadows drills. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:52 AQU 4th PROPENSITY (#2, 6-1) is best sprinting and has been most effective in his limited attempts between 5.5 and 6 furlongs, which have been relatively few and far between to this point; gamely prevailed in a two-turn race after a good trip on the drop two back; stepping up but like him cutting back for this. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:00 TAM 6th CAUSALISTIC (#1, 8-1) was no threat against a deep group of sprinters in his latest but he's back at two turns for this, and he does seem to prefer routing; gets the rail, and his tactical speed should mean he's able to work out a favorable inside stalking trip just off the speeds. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:15 WO 5th SOUPER RIVER (#5, 8-1) earned the highest Beyer in this field (74) when he peaked last summer. The son of Souper Speedy is drawn outside the other speed in this wide open $25K NW2 contest and could prevail at a square price. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:23 AQU 5th DANCING BELLA (#9, 10-1) debuted in a short sprint last summer at Saratoga and appeared to really need that experience while racing greenly in a wide trip to no avail; has switched barns since then but has the pedigree to stretch out and starts back for a tag with Lasix on looking to improve. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:32 TAM 7th STARSHIP MACYS (#9, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:33 OP 4th JERI DAWN (#5, 5-1) is a consistent sort who was steadied last out, according to her trouble line. She has an age edge on fellow leading contender SHE'S HAMAZING. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:46 WO 6th ANARCHY (#7, 6-1) is by 15% first-out sire New Year's Day, the sire of SoCal G1 winners Maximum Security and Fighting Mad. His dam produced two debut winners and his trainer won at an 11% rate with firsters over the past five years ($2.31 ROI). -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:03 OP 5th PLATINUM EQUITY (#4, 8-1) exits a key race, with the runner-up coming back to win for $12.5K at OP with a Beyer of 77 and the ninth-place finisher, Hidden Promise, a $10K starter at OP, with a Beyer of 86. This one was previously based in Southern California. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:39 OP 8th BOW BOW GIRL (#5, 5-1) hooked a Grade 1 winner last out in Maracuja and finished a credible fourth. This one is back at the mile distance of her last win. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:00 GP 10th CAMPEADOR (#9, 8-1) is moving into open company but he has an excellent 3-0-3 record from 6 starts running on Tapeta and the 85 Beyer Speed Figure he received for his win in his latest stands out. He has a good closing kick and there should be an honest pace to set him up. -Randy Goulding | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
