Facing even softer today. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:15 MTH 2nd PIONEER WOMAN (#10, 7-2) makes her first start since July but she lands in a very good spot, not just because of the move from Maiden Special Weight company into a maiden claimer but also due to the expected pace scenario, as she does appear to be the main speed; should prove tough to reel in if she’s able to control the tempo from the start. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:27 GPW 4th ONEMORETIMEAROUND (#7, 6-1) debuts off long series of works that includes five 5 furlong drills and several from the gate. Fitness should not be the issue. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:38 WO 2nd BORN TO BE GOOD (#9, 10-1) raced very wide in each of her last two outings vs. $10K maidens on the Tapeta. She’s changing riders to the capable Alderson, and should be competitive at a square price if able to save a little ground. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets :: Want to get your Past Performances for free? He’s been away just a bit tardy in his last two races and can’t afford a poor start breaking from the rail with other speeds entered. Hustled up to set a pressured pace outside the favored winner last time at Delaware, he lasted for second despite getting out a bit in the lane. If he does break well, he can put his speed to good use at what should be a solid price. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:58 GPW 7th NO GETTING OVER ME (#1, 4-1) disappointed as even money choice last time albeit after a pretty eventful trip. Has changed barns since, gets another chance with this kind. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:12 LRL 8th COCONUT CAKE (#10, 10-1) has been racing in excellent form and deserves her shot at the big girls in this year’s Distaff. A winner of her last three starts, she looked very good handling restricted allowance foes last time out going three-quarters of a mile. Tracked the pace in the pocket, professionally waited for a seam turning for home, then split horses with a quick burst to grab the lead. The runner-up made a strong late bid, but Coconut Cake gamely held her at bay. She should get some pace to run at here. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets :: Click to learn about our DRF's Free Past Performance program. 3:30 WO 6th JOCULARITY (#7, 20-1) ran wide over a speed-favoring surface when up the track in his debut, but has since worked well and is eligible to wake up with the addition of blinkers and Lasix. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:20 LRL 10th BRILLIANT CHASE (#4, 5-1) has put it all together this form cycle with wins in three of his last four starts (three for three at this distance). Looked good scoring over sloppy footing last month as he was off a beat slow, advanced to stalk off the rail, then made a strong five-wide bid to the front turning into the stretch. Gets a major class test stepping up into stakes company for the first time, but think he’s too sharp to ignore. McCarthy departs for Let’s Play Nine. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:38 WO 8th CHARMAINE’S MIA (#8, 12-1) has been knocking heads with the likes of Jean Elizabeth, Souper Escape and Summer Sunday in graded stakes and a recent allowance/optional claimer. This is the easiest field that she’s faced in a while, and she could end a drought with Moran replacing Bahen, who’s sticking with FACT CHECKING. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:38 GPW 10th BLACK HOPE (#1, 6-1) back to the main after showing speed, stopping badly trying two turns on grass returning from extended layoff. drops to bottom, should benefit from most recent try. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:08 WO 9th SWEET UPROAR (#5, 6-1) raced quite wide over an inside-biased track last time when 10 lengths back in her first Tapeta excursion. The drop from maiden special to OS/$40K company could put her over the top. -Ron Gierkink | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets :: Start earning weekly cashback on your wagering today. That came on the drop and the result was better at least. Nice to see Prat keep the call and Glatt adds blinkers, a move with which he’s had ample success. –Michael Hammersly | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 11:23 RP 8th YES HE CAN (#2, 9-2) is a consistent, promising sort moving back to the six furlong trip that produced his best career Beyer Speed Figure. -Mary Rampellini | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
