Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 11:50 AQU 1st FRAU DIABLO (#4, 5-1) was entered for turf in the first two starts at Saratoga yet still wound up in a pair of fast races - both races were won by MTOs with Beyers of 86 and 84. He chased the winner on a quick pace in the most recent of those and paid the price, while also racing over a sloppy track; has some speed and takes the drop with Lasix on. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:32 TAM 1st CHEM MAJOR (#5, 6-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Kenny Peck). | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:57 LRL 2nd ARISTOCRATIC (#6, 5-1) prompted the favorite's reasonable fractions at Delaware three weeks ago before tiring in the stretch. He can get a bit fractious behind the gate, but has the speed to potentially control the pace this time around. -Dan Illman | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:48 AQU 5th MY FRIENDS BEER (#3, 5-1) will need to get back to one of his good races in order to contend here, but his good race - or something close to it - does make him tough in here; goes for a new trainer after getting wired at this level last time. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:01 TAM 4th MR MAC QUHAE (#7, 8-1) ran a sub-par race when last seen but that can be attributed to the race flow, as he was caught well off the pace in a race that lacked pace, and thus set up very well for the speeds (note the inverted "S" in DRF pp line, indicating a severe edge); back Beyers plenty good enough, and he can be expected to run to those figures if he gets an honest pace to chase. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:05 GP 5th WARDA (#4, 15-1) was well back, disappointed debuting against MSW company now drops for a tag, switches to Tapeta, gets one more look at what may be a decent price even with Zayas taking call. Older sib Legends Can't Die a multiple winner on grass. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:29 LRL 5th NINJA ABARRIO (#9, 6-1) steps up in class seeking third straight score. Tracked the pace while slightly off the inside earlier in the month, made a three-wide bid while keeping pace with a solid 23.59 second quarter, brushed with the leader when making a strong upper stretch bid, then always found a bit more. Barn went 3 for 10 (30%, $5.92 ROI) on dirt between 10/6 and 11/10. -Dan Illman | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:00 TAM 6th JOYFUL GHOST (#4, 6-1) was against the race flow in his last few starts, as those last two featured short fields and little pace and he was looking to make the last run, but he has license to improve today given a better set up; steady Beyers add to the appeal. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:28 TAM 7th SENSITIVITY (#4, 10-1) is an upgrade candidate off her most recent try, back in July, when she was off the pace in a race lacking speed; prior try was good, off a layoff similar to this one, and though his latest turf try was dull he has back grass figures that put her squarely in the middle of this. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:33 WO 6th PRAIRIE SKY (#6, 10-1) made a threatening move in the stretch before flattening out late to fifth in her five-furlong debut. She's sent out by a successful second-out trainer and should be better for the experience. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:43 AQU 9th HONOR D LADY (#3, 6-1) handles all three surfaces but she improved winning that Grade 3 last time, and did so while getting an aggressive ride and still managing to close down an underrated rival after an outside trip; would like to see her get forward once again as she faces tougher. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:45 GG 1st COPPER BO TEN (#2, 6-1) finished second for the first time in her eighth race in a $12,500 claimer for maidens at 5 1-2 furlongs on Nov. 5, the filly's first start on the synthetic track at Golden Gate Fields and first start for trainer Jeff Bonde. Copper Bo Ten set the pace, but could not hold off Church Harbor while finishing well clear of third. Copper Bo Ten's best chance in this field is arguably from the front, provided she does not face too much pressure from Grazed n' Confused. The race lacks a reliable closer. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:04 GP 9th Another field loaded with speed, might yield pricey winner from among the late runners like MAJOR PRYCE (#5, 12-1) who returns to Tapeta off solid off the pace tally on dirt and back with state breds for first time in a long while. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:35 WO 8th KING ROSSO (#3, 8-1) raced three-wide against a speed bias last time when sixth in the G3 Grey. The maiden is adding blinkers and Lasix for this lucrative stakes for Canadian-breds and could graduate in style with Husbands riding for KA, a potent combo. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:36 GP 10th TAKECAREOFBUSINESS (#10, 6-1) and GAME BOY BENNY (#11, 15-1) will have to work out a trip from tough posts but both look live in this head-scratcher at a decent price. Former beaten less than a length when trying same kind for fist time last month returning to a surface he's obviously handled exctremely well in all previous starts. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:42 GG 3rd STEIN'S GIRL (#3, 6-1) won consecutive starts in conditional claimers at a mile in May, races that are very attractive in the context of this field of six $8,000 claimers. Stein's Girl closed well to finish second in a race at this level at Fresno last month despite racing in traffic and wide. She should have a good pace to follow in this small field. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:56 DMR 4th First-time long, TAHOE SECRETS (#7, 4-1) can upset this low-level N2L claiming route. He has speed for a front-running/pressing trip in a field light on pace; he did not have great trips either recent start (broke from rail last out, wide trip two back). -Brad Free | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:07 WO 9th WAR PAINTER (#3, 6-1) beat OLIVIA ROSE two back in the seven-furlong Victorian Queen Stakes on the grass and then wound up fifth after racing wide throughout against the boys in the Cup and Saucer Stakes. She worked well with AIROSA last weekend and could prevail at a square price in this rich stakes for Canadian-bred 2yo fillies, which KA won with Moira two years ago. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:10 GG 8th SAINT IVES (#1, 6-1) has a potentially tough draw on the inside in this $25,000 claimer, his first start at Golden Gate Fields since a win in an allowance race at six furlongs in late August. Dismiss the loss at Santa Anita on Oct. 1. Saint Ives was overmatched. Saint Ives has worked well in recent weeks, and may have enough speed for jockey Catalino Martinez to establish an early position as a stalker. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:40 GG 9th CONTRARY CHIEFTAIN (#8, 15-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Steve Andersen). | Bet this race with DRF Bets 8:07 RP 1st ABBY THE BULL DAWG (#2, 8-1) might get the right kind of setup in the opener as there appears to be a good deal of speed in the race. -Mary Rampellin | Bet this race with DRF Bets
