Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:35 GP 2nd SAINT LARNED (#7, 6-1) has encountered trouble of one sort or another in all recent starts but has shown well in last two starts on dirt. Should sit a decent trip here stalking likely pace of Money Come and perhaps ROSAS WAY. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:42 TAM 2nd PRIVATE ASTRAY (#4, 15-1) was no threat in either of his two starts at this meet but he also wasn’t hard pushed when clearly beaten in the lane either time, and he was hurt by a lack of pace in that route debut last time; worth a shot at a price against a seemingly average group of maiden claimers. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:50 AQU 2nd FOX RED (#6, 12-1) got caught up in a fast-paced race off the claim last time and tired after chasing his way up to contention coming to the stretch, before the closers showed up; didn’t get the most aggressive ride in the world two starts back at this level, and then couldn’t catch a repeat winner in the stretch. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:12 TAM 3rd SEE ME SEE YOU (#1, 15-1) was game to get up in time for the maiden score in his five-furlong debut and she figures to appreciate today’s added distance; likely to be overlooked some based on the light figure he earned in that bow but he has lots of room to post an improve Beyer here with the right kind of trip. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:05 GP 5th BLITZ TO WIN (#5, 7-2) definitely looked ready for his debut in that Jan. 2 drill, where he started several lengths behind a pair of workmates and proceeded to crush them with some efficient action. – Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:23 LRL 5th WOLFINBARGER (#1A, 8-1) gave an improved effort when dropping to the nickel. He went after favored Glengar in earnest, put a head in front at the five-sixteenths and just couldn’t put the chalk away. Have to be concerned that’s one of his career themes with 13 runner-up efforts from 47 starts, but he finished ahead of three of these and has the tactical speed to stay within range. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:50 AQU 6th RETICENT (#5, 8-1) debuted for this tag at Parx and was away last in that field before getting outrun early behind a repeat, front-running winner, but he was racing on with some interest late once altering course in a race he appeared to need; expecting better shipping in for Englehart, who has solid number with horses like this. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:53 LRL 6th ELOQUENT LADY (#3, 4-1) tracked a quick pace, moved into the teeth of it three wide to take command turning for home and understandably tired while drifting out a bit late. It’s worth noting that she was the only part of the pace still around at the end (the first, third and fourth-finishers were ninth, seventh and eighth, respectively after the first call). Don’t think the fractions will be as quick this time around and she might receive a similar stalking trip. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:15 GP 7th SIMOVITCH (#3, 6-1) comes off much improved showing in 2yo finale behind 3-2 Pletcher trainee Donegal Bay, should benefit from the experience at the trip. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:46 TAM 8th AZIZA (#1, 9-2) showed plenty of gameness to win a maiden race last out while making her first start in 13 months. Been given time to avoid bouncing, and while I couldn’t find video of the most recent work, it was fastest of 65 on the PMM turf. She’s going to get a great setup with a ton of pace in front of her here. So will favorite Mary France, but that one is a short price, has a recent gap in works, and while an obvious contender might be worth trying to beat. – Marcus Hersh | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:53 LRL 8th FIFTEEN ROYALS (#4, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Dan Illman). | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:17 GP 9th JOE DI BAGGIO (#3, 6-1) made a bit of a wide, pre-mature run in the Rapid Transit, flattened out late stages but in top form now, eligible to spring the upset returning against virtually the same kind today. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:20 AQU 9th FRIED RICE KING (#10, 20-1) earned a 79 Beyer when on a big class drop for Pletcher at Saratoga and bouncing back out of a poor effort in his previous start, and he has faced better in his four starts since being claimed, including that last one when cut back to face the speedy Ryan’s Cat over a track that featured a strong rail; back out to a better distance with blinkers on. -Mike Beer | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:22 TAM 9th TALE OF A SONG (#2, 15-1) never got involved in that last one after he threw his head at the start and got away slowly, and though he was no threat two back that was a race where the speeds controlled the issue from the start and he wasn’t able to make an impact late; worth a shot at a price with Gallardo, as the 57 figure he earned in that sprint two back puts him in the mix and he should get a decent pace set up today. -Kenny Peck | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:23 LRL 9th SHUFFLEBOARD (#2, 9-2) is by a high-percentage debut stallion (18% winners) out of a dam that won four dirt races (80 Beyer top). She’s related to five winners including On Board Charade, who finished second in the Maryland Million Distaff Starter Handicap in 2011. -Dan Illman | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:49 GP 10th RIDE A COMET (#3, 5-1) back to perhaps his favorite surface off a couple of big sprint wins on Woodbine synthetic off the extended vacation. Working lights out for this. -Mike Welsch | Get PPs for this race | Bet this race with DRF Bets
