Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 11:50 AQU 1st HAIR ON FIRE (#3, 8-1) faced some experienced horses on debut and looked green in that race while racing wide most of the way, before weakening in the stretch; that race has been productive and he can improve quickly with that experience behind him. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:20 AQU 2nd SPEED CONTROL (#7, 8-1) has some pedigree behind him and he might have gained a lot of experience in that sloppy debut after winding up last early; did a lot of chasing in that spot before weakening in the late stages; threat if able to put that experience to use, especially going this distance. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:05 WO 1st DISCOVERY CHART (#6, 10-1) had a horrible trip while stuck in traffic before landing on the edges in another seven-furlong sprint for $7.5K maidens Nov. 23. He's being reunited with leading rider Kimura and should be dangerous if things go his way. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:19 AQU 4th SEBA M (#5, 9-2) is a DRF Best Bet (Mike Beer). | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:36 GP 4th MACLIN (#10, 20-1) over-matched in lone try at Laurel in a race that produced trio of next out winners(at Presque Isle, Colonial and Timonium). Returns locally to try Tapeta for fist time off the bench, ran well enough here with much better last winter to merit a look at a fair price off pretty decent gate work last week on the main. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:03 WO 3rd MAXIMUM FIFTY (#7, 10-1) is by the good 13% 2yo debut sire Souper Speedy, and her speedy dam notched her debut at 2 before landing several sprint stakes. The homebred has worked fast for 10% first-out trainer Tiller, who's 2 for 12 when using Munger. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:35 GP 6th Many of the usual suspects assemble in this one likely to be decided by trips considering the bulky nature of the lineup. MAKE DECISIONS (#1, 8-1) well drawn inside. Steps up off yet another win, his third in four tries, for dangerous connections off the claim. Jaramillo stays. Best good enough to beat these. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:20 TAM 6th LET THEM WATCH (#4, 4-1) couldn't make the lead in a speed-packed Myrtlewood Stakes and she gave way, with the winner, Youalmosthadme, scoring in game fashion on the front end and flattering the other speeds in the race by coming back to win her next start, the Fern Creek Stakes, with an 86 Beyer; this filly will face pressure on the lead once again in this Sandpiper Stakes but perhaps not as much and she can win this if she can shake loose in the opening stages. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:50 TAM 7th CITY LEADER (#10, 4-1) is widest but he could be quickest of them all out of the gate, as he comes out of a race that featured a good amount of speed and he also adds blinkers today; eligible to steal this if he can clear the field in the opening stages under jockey Daniel Centeno. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:52 LRL 8th KING'S RIVER (#1, 8-1) tracked moderate fractions from the pocket, tipped out, then finished evenly to salvage a dead-heat for third. Think he's more effective making one run as he did when grabbing second in a fast-paced race over course and distance two back, and there's a good chance he'll revert to those tactics for barn that went 4 for the last 13 (31%, $3.69 ROI) moving route to dirt sprints. -Dan Illman | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:12 AQU 10th THREE TECHNIQUE (#7, 8-1) won a Grade 2 easily the last time he shipped to NY; faced a weaker field that day but won impressively while able to keep the pace in range, something he has been compromised by several times already this year; appears to have some pace set to develop in front of him this time and he should be a fair price. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:50 TAM 9th VICTORIA'S DANCER (#14, 10-1) will obviously be a threat here if she gets off the AE list and is able to run, as her two turf/route tries were both strong efforts; she will be widest but she has the tactical speed to work out a favorable trip from just off the pace, and that should enable her to run to those Beyers. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:07 GP 11th In a field loaded with speed, perhaps FELIX (#6, 8-1) the right one to take advantage of the situation shortening to a sprint after making nice little middle run before fading late trying seven panels at Kentucky Downs several months earlier in promising turf bow. Winner of that race, Wake Surf, posted a whopping 98 Beyer finishing second next out vs. allowance company at Churchill Downs. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:11 GG 4th The possibility of a speed duel could lead to a third win for TIGER IN MY TANK (#2, 6-1), who was overmatched when last of 12 at 37-1 in the Golden State Juvenile at seven furlongs on Santa Anita on Nov. 3. Tiger in My Tank faded from contention in early stretch. Earlier this year, he won twice at Golden Gate and Santa Rosa by racing from slightly off the pace and disputing the pace. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:10 GG 6th The first-time starter THIRSTY BABY (#7, 8-1) looks favorably placed in this $12,500 claimer for maidens. The colt has a steady pattern of workouts in the last six weeks for trainer Ed Moger, Jr., though none have been exceptionally quick, for trainer Ed Moger, Jr. Moger does well with debut runners, and there is not much to beat in this field. Thirsty Baby is out of a two-time stakes winner for Louisiana-breds, and is by the capable stallion Stay Thirsty. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:40 GG 9th SUGAR BEETS (#8, 8-1) is well-established among the veteran claimers in Northern California and has a late rally that could be well-served in this $12,500 claimer at a mile. Sugar Beets won a conditional $12,500 claimer in late September and has since finished third in two starts, closing well each time. Law Abiding and Il Capitano should provide a good pace for Sugar Beets to follow. -Steve Andersen | Bet this race with DRF Bets 8:07 RP 1st GOLD ACCOUNT (#1, 8-1) was third at this distance last out and can make a move forward in this, his second start off the layoff. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:59 RP 5th AIN'T THAT A KICK (#3, 7-2) was second last out to a winner who returned in his next start to account for a first-level allowance. This one moves back to two turns, site of his maiden win. The effort came at this distance at Remington. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets
