Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:50 MTH 1st NOTHING BUT HEIR (#2, 10-1) is out of a dam who won three races (with eight runner-up finishes) from 17 starts), and All Flatter's only other starter (Rainbowsnsunshine) has a win and a 2nd from three career starts; this colt has been training steadily for trainer Dan Ward, who has strong stats with firsters and with 2-year-olds overall. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:43 MTH 5th RECKLESS PLACE (#9, 15-1) may or may not be better going two turns but there are a couple of thins to like about this turnback, including the fact that trainer Tony Wilson does very well with horses moving from routes to sprints, and he does figure to be running late in this sprint, which features a good amount of speed; should make an impact late, and he also should be a square price. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:49 GP 4th CLEARLY COPPER (#1, 9-2) tried a route of ground off the layoff and did so for a new barn only to win nicely at 8/5. We like it that connections find a spot where this filly can't be claimed. Is this filly a new synth horse? Works are perfect all for a barn that is 24% with their routers. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:13 MTH 6th WOW LUCKY (#5, 6-1) has been idle since May but she lands in a seemingly good spot for her return, as her steady Beyers fit nicely with the locals; there is some concern she may not get enough pace to chase here but if she gets an honest tempo up front she may well be good enough to make the last run. -Kenny Peck | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:09 RP 7th FOXTASTIC (#4, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Ron Gierkink). | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:12 CBY 1st CAJUN HOPE (#8, 5-1) is capable of good races but only here and there. His return try was his first local start and he tired inside the 1/8th pole at odds of 9/2. For this barn, that isn't much play. We bet he needed that race. He drops in class for this and that makes perfect sense. He draws much better today and is more than capable of a Beyer in 60's which could easily win this. Return rider stays put and that is a good sign. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:27 WO 11th EMPIRE'S TREAT (#5, 4-1) is dropping back down to the level at which she finished second two back on the Tapeta off a six-length loss vs. maiden special opponents going about nine furlongs on the main turf. She's taking on the boys and shouldn't be out of her league. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 6:33 GP 10th CLASSIC CAR WASH (#2, 12-1) loves seven panels where he has never missed the exacta. His Beyer top of 92 came off a layoff and going this distance. Works are fine and the Casse barn often employs Vasquez. A better price than at least a few of these, right? -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:59 RP 2nd PLEASINGLY (#9, 8-1) makes a rare appearance on turf and she gets pedigree support for the surface switch. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets 8:57 RP 4th TEXAS CLUBMAN (#4, 9-2) is back at two turns, site of his best races on form. He also reunites with Cabrera, who was aboard for his maiden win. -Mary Rampellini | Bet this race with DRF Bets 9:42 CBY 8th SCOOTER'S BOY (#9, 12-1) returns to restricted claimers and that should make all the difference. Even after beating only one home, connections want this mile distance right back. That has to say something. This barn is 14% with their route runners. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 11:22 RP 9th WEST COAST FASHION (#6, 5-1) is a DRF Best Bet (Mary Rampellini). | Bet this race with DRF Bets
