Daily Racing Form has served as the most trusted source of news and information about the sport since 1894, and moving forward we have decided to provide a free daily playbook – something that both hardcore horseplayers and casual observers can reference to get informed of each day’s action. 12:10 GP 1st FRISSON (#4, 12-1) shows some good looking main track works on his resume' at Monmouth prior to shipping locally including a couple of near bullet drills at the N J oval and did get a couple of chances to test the Tapeta upon arriving locally. Lures meets top jock and well spotted launching career against bottom level claiming types. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:20 AQU 1st LIVEHAPPY (#7, 6-1) was let go at a big price first time out, despite having some pedigree behind him, and he outran his odds in that spot while keeping after a fast pace right from the start and staying gamely until the end; shouldn't get overlooked this time. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 12:38 GP 2nd SHE'S SO BEARRISH (#3, 9-2) steps back to this level off the claim while adding blinkers for the first time since the spring. Missed less than a length to Talk Much 2 back, the latter flattering the effort winning an $8K N3L in her next start. Was also only a head behind Amor Y Control for 2nd money on 8/13, that one winning this same condition by 4 1/3 lengths in her subsequent start. Posted near bullet work one must assume with the new equipment for this. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 1:46 AQU 4th FLASH KISS (#4, 10-1) got bumped at the start and then didn't seem to care for that wet track when failing to come close in his first start back from a layoff last month; prior dirt form makes him competitive here as he drops again for his second start back. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 2:54 LRL 6th LAKESIDE GETAWAY (#12, 9-2) comes here in raging form off 2 smashing wins. She is stuck way outside but her speed gives her rider options and the chance to get position early and avoid getting hung out to dry on the first turn. Her Oct. 16 win here was her first try on this course and she obviously handled the footing well. -Michael Hammersly | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:33 WO 6th PERFECT FOREST (#7, 15-1) showed little after getting away slowly when fourth behind a runaway winner at first asking vs. OS/$40K stock. The son of Old Forester worked well with top sprinter Patches O'Houlihan the other day and could have these $25K maidens within his sights. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:34 GP 8th SKIP TO THE BEAT (#5, 5-1) caught pretty strong bunch making U S debut at Keeneland now comes up tagged for first time and eligible to improve with a race under her belt. Finished only 2 1/4 lengths behind Panic Alarm as a 2yo in Ireland, the latter G3 placed at Del Mar earlier this season. -Mike Welsch | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:42 AQU 8th MAIL ORDER (#6, 15-1) was in good form when stepped up to try this race last November on the final day of turf racing in NY, and she did not get a great trip in that race while chasing wide as the course seemed to favor speed and the inside; this looks like her best distance and she will be a price in just her third start as a 5yo. -Mike Beer | Bet this race with DRF Bets 3:45 GG 1st ONE LITTLE INDIAN (#1, 6-1) tried today's mile distance for the first and only time three back and ran a Beyer top. In his two recent sprints, this guy broke 8th and 6th yet ran evenly in both. The added distance might prove the tipping point. Rail draw ensures a good trip as this guy saves all the early ground. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:13 GG 2nd FIVE O COCKTAIL (#4, 10-1) exits a key race where 3 of 6 returned to win with figs of 68, 61, and 48 (another finished 2nd (by a nose) and got a 45 Beyer)). This filly did try tougher in her first two starts before the class drop worked its magic. Works are fine. What if this 3YO has matured some since last being seen in June? -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets 4:24 LRL 9th REE NEE'S SIX (#11, 6-1) kept to her task decently to be 4th in her debut for this price at DEL Oct. 18, though that won't make those who made her the 7-2 favorite feel any better. She can benefit from that outing and Magee saw fit to claim her, and has super off-the-claim the numbers She's worked well since, too. -Michael Hammersly | Bet this race with DRF Bets 5:12 WO 9th BRIDGE TO NOWHERE (#9, 10-1) overcame a wide trip over an inside-preferred track to beat $7.5K maidens with a 65 Beyer three weeks ago. She could strike again in this NW2 tilt in her second try for trainer John Coryat. -Ron Gierkink | Bet this race with DRF Bets 7:13 GG 8th EXCESS ENGLISH (#6, 8-1) actually ran OK in his first two starts and he was trying two turns on the turf which is very tough. His return tries were only OK but we have pocket excuses for both (layoff and post). Now he cuts back to a sprint something he tries for the first time. This barn is 36% going route to sprint. -Scott Ehlers | Bet this race with DRF Bets
