Randy Goulding, a longtime Canadian correspondent and handicapper for Daily Racing Form, among other positions in the racing industry, has been elected to the British Columbia Horse Racing Hall of Fame. Goulding will be honored for the election during an awards dinner and induction ceremony on a date to be determined next March, along with Tod Mountain Thoroughbreds, a breeding and sales operation, and Terry Sangara, a prominent owner. Goulding, 70, worked for DRF from 1976-80 and then again from 1999-2023. He also has worked as a jockeys’ agent, racing secretary, and director of racing, and he headed up a group called “Save the Track Coalition” that lobbied for additional gambling at Hastings Park. “It’s a real honor,” Goulding said. “I just count myself lucky to be able to work in an industry I love for all this time.” :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
