Prima could be the controlling speed in the 6 1/2-furlong event. The John Mattine-trained daughter of Silent Name finished second to Mrs. C while earning a career-high 71 Beyer on Oct. 12. Prima cleared the nonwinners-of-two condition most recently after helping to set a slow pace, scoring with a 70 Beyer in a 6 1/2-furlong sprint. The turf expert was competitive in two subsequent inner course excursions, including a close second to a sharp Happy Valentine. When turning back to a sprint on the Tapeta in her latest, Blameless Ghost was hard-ridden while four wide on the turn en route to finishing sixth. She drew the rail in a nine-horse field on Thursday after breezing a half-mile in 49.20 seconds last Friday. Two Sip Sally looks like a player from off the pace. She ran second in three consecutive $25,000 nonwinners-of-two races under a variety of conditions before clearing the nonwinners-of-two class most recently with a $40,000 tag going a mile on the inner turf. Rafael Hernandez will ride her again for trainer Marty Drexler. The pair teamed to win with Souper Dormy on Sunday. Bedazzle Me ran well in three straight outings at this level in the spring before taking the summer off. She was beaten four lengths in each of her first two starts after returning from her vacation this fall, before a dull seventh in an open allowance around two turns. Cymbal Court went four wide on the turn after breaking a bit slowly when third against $25,000 foes on Nov. 7.
