Charge It, winner of the Grade 2 Suburban Stakes, returned to the worktab Thursday, breezing a half-mile in 49.18 seconds over Saratoga’s main track. He is preparing for a start in the Grade 1, $1 million Whitney Stakes here on Aug. 5. Far Bridge, winner of the Grade 1 Belmont Derby, also returned to the worktab Thursday, breezing a half-mile in 49.96 seconds in company with Al’s Rocket. Pletcher has a new stakes winner in the barn in Malleymoo, who was purchased by LSU Stables for $550,000 at the Fasig-Tipton July selected horses of racing age sale. Malleymoo, previously trained by Jack Sisterson, won the Penn Oaks on June 2. Pletcher was considering the Grade 3, $400,000 Saratoga Oaks on Aug. 4, but said he hasn’t yet breezed the filly so that race may come up too soon.
