Cavalry Charge, if all goes well, will try to validate his 35-1 upset of the Grade 3, $150,000 Fair Grounds Stakes in the $300,000 Muniz Memorial on March 26.   Cavalry Charge led all the way Saturday on a slow pace under Brian Hernandez to post his first stakes win in his second try.   “He’s got the makings of a top turf horse,” trainer Dallas Stewart said.   French import Adhamo, who rallied very wide from the back of the pack to miss by a head, came out of his North American debut in good shape, but likely won’t run again until early May. Trainer Chad Brown said he had mapped a two-race plan for Adhamo: the 1 1/8-mile Turf Classic on the Kentucky Derby undercard, and the 1 1/4-mile Manhattan on the Belmont undercard.   “I like the spacing of both races. I’d love to get him to a mile and a quarter, but I’m going to have to wait,” Brown said.  Halo Again, third while just a head behind Adhamo, also is no sure thing for the Muniz.   “He ran very hard and was very tired off his race,” Steve Asmussen said. “We’ll see how he bounces back.”  :: Serious horseplayers use serious products.
