DEL MAR, Calif. – Non Compliant, undefeated winner of the Grade 2 Oak Leaf Stakes, has been scratched out of Friday’s $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies at Del Mar, and Out On Bail, winner of the Skidmore Stakes, has been scratched from Friday’s $1 million Juvenile Turf Sprint, according to a Breeders’ Cup official. The scratches will be listed as “trainer withdrawal,” according to Dora Delgado, senior vice president of racing operations and nominations for Breeders’ Cup. Trainer Bob Baffert said he withdrew Non Compliant after she jogged Tuesday morning at Del Mar. “I took that filly out. She had a hot foot,” Baffert said. “You have to be perfect.” :: ON SALE NOW: DRF Breeders' Cup Packages! Get everything you need to win and save 41% off the retail price. Entries closed and post positions were drawn Monday for all 14 Breeders’ Cup races. All horses are subject to daily veterinarian examinations in the week leading up to this two-day event. Non Compliant was listed as the 9-2 third choice on the morning line. She has won both of her career starts. Out On Bail, a 20-1 shot in the Juvenile Turf Sprint, is trained by Mike Maker. Out On Bail, a New York-bred son of Tiz the Law, has a record of 2-3-1 from six starts. Most recently, he was beaten a neck by Governor Sam in the Indian Summer Stakes at Keeneland. Maker said Out On Bail was diagnosed with a chip in a knee. The scratch of Out On Bail allows Pali Kitten to draw in from the also-eligible list. Trainer Doug O’Neill confirmed that Pali Kitten would run in the Juvenile Turf Sprint and scratch from Friday’s $200,000 Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Stakes, in which he was also entered. Ylang Ylang, a longshot entrant for Aidan O’Brien in the Filly and Mare Turf, has also been scratched. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
