The pecking order for the Grade 1, $2 million Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies on Nov. 1 at Del Mar could be sorted out this weekend with three Win and You’re In challenge races for the division. The Alcibiades on Friday at Keeneland is led by top prospect Immersive, while the Frizette on Saturday at the Belmont at Aqueduct meet lured North America’s fastest 2-year-old filly on Beyer Speed Figures in Senza Parole. The Oak Leaf on Saturday at Santa Anita was expected to draw Tenma, an unbeaten Grade 1 winner for Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert. Immersive is an unbeaten Grade 1 winner for Eclipse Award-winning trainer Brad Cox. She won her debut at Saratoga in July before taking the track’s Grade 1 Spinaway in her most recent start Aug. 31. Immersive is making the move to two turns Friday and by prepping in the Alcibiades at 1 1/16 miles follows the same pattern into the BC Juvenile Fillies as British Idiom, the Cox trainee who won both races before being voted champion 2-year-old filly of 2019. :: ON SALE NOW: DRF Breeders' Cup Packages! Her gallop-outs have been great. I’m excited about getting her around two turns.” Immersive is a daughter of Nyquist and the Bernardini mare Gap Year. She races for her breeder, Godolphin. “She looks like a 3-year-old,” Cox said. “She carries good flesh. She’s a good physical. She’s not overly aggressive training, but likes to do it, good work horse. She put in a fantastic move at Churchill Downs [on Sept. 20] that has her set up for the race at Keeneland.” The last BC Juvenile Fillies winner to have her final prep in the Alcibiades was Wonder Wheel in 2022. Echo Zulu and Vequist are recent Spinaway winners who captured the BC Juvenile Fillies after prepping in the Frizette. The Frizette, a one-turn mile, has produced four of the last six winners of the BC Juvenile Fillies. The renewal Saturday has drawn a field that includes the The Queens M G, a two-time stakes winner at Saratoga who is cross-entered in the Alcibiades. She will run in the Frizette, trainer Saffie Joseph Jr. said Tuesday. :: BREEDERS’ CUP JUVENILE FILLIES: See DRF’s special section with top contenders, odds, comments, news, and more “She’s in New York,” he said. “We don’t have to ship her that far. It’s a shorter trip to Aqueduct from Saratoga than it is to Kentucky, so we’ll take our chances in New York. It looks like we’re going to get a fast track. “Obviously [Senza Parole] is very tough in there, but it’s a horse race and you have to run your race.” Senza Parole earned a Beyer of 94 for a debut win in August at Saratoga and is the early 5-2 favorite for the BC Juvenile Fillies on the Daily Racing Form line set by David Aragona. Immersive is the 9-2 second choice on Aragona’s line, while Tenma and Quietside, the Spinaway runner-up who goes in the Alcibiades, are the early co-third choices at 6-1. :: Want to learn more about handicapping and wagering?
